The Woods Manor - Hotel in Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

A beautiful Hotel, well thought of and the entrance to the restaurant is unique. I have only eaten at the restaurant called 'Leaves' and although the food is good and is a definite value for money, the service was lackluster and disappointing at best. Avoid the biryani and you will enjoy the place. The view from the restraunt is the most attractive feature here. Would recommend for a hearty lunch or dinner.

I went there for a 2 day Govt training programme. Location is easily accessible, but still, they can add a metro pillar number to the location, so that, it will be more convenient. Underground parking is available, but cannot park more than 8 cars at a time. Getting into interiors, Firstly, the hall provided on day 1 was not a proper maintained one. Had a low class feeling, even with the table mats. Glasses provided for drinking water was also not a standard one. Day one's buffet lunch was nice. Day 2, they provided a better hall with a neat interior and sufficient space. Lunch was not so good that day. Overall staff treatment was friendly and nice. Total rating of 3.5 or 3 out of 5.

Woods Manor Hotel has clean authentic styled rooms and provides excellent service for tourists & travelers. Excellent room service and myself have personally experienced of a very honest behavior from the staff(returning my personal ornament worth a lakh rupees, which i left in the room after checkout). The restaurant is very good and its proximity is also key for travelers and city dwellers.

-Very casual attitude staff. -poor service at restaurant,had been sitting in restaurant for 20 mins and no water was served.the guy who takes the order at the restaurant is least courteous. -rooms are ok .bedsheets had some stains . -apparently u have to hang a please clean my room tag on ur door .. else they won't do clean ur room. -dont provide any mineral water bottle as complimentary. -need to bear all this for 3k a night

Hotel wood s Manor is good and attractive. The conference hall is very small. And I was very disappointed that I didn't receive any treat or something like welcome drinks.( it's not hotels fault but sponsors). Only default I can understand is that during the conference, the speaker and Microphone facility was bad. We had many issues with microphone disrupting our ways. In an overall way it's good.

Worst ever hotel to stay. I'm Malaysian stayed this hotel during my holiday at Kochin. Given full details of myself and my family at reception including they scan each individual of my family. We booked in total three rooms. Passed after midnight at around 2am police turn up to my mother in laws room. They knocked on the room door. After long day she was in deep sleep plus she was not well. They started to force open the door. Mother in law shocked awake from sleep open the room door. They went in cheked the room without any excuse or ezplenation. There wasn't any apologize made by the hotel management. The ever worst thing was the manager who spoke to me said there is suspicious terrorist threat. The main suspect in their list was travelers from Malaysia. Hotel management simply said this is normal. So if you don't want to have uninvited guest visiting your bed room late at nite pls don't cook this hotel. Otherwise you will hv people visit during your good night sleep with your family.

They have legacy in hospitality field. But new management not enough interest. Maintenance. Department is the no.1 failure department. No qualified people is there. I have bad experience with one maintenance manager. Woodlands was the signature property in kochi. Place name also woodlands junction. I think presently Woodlands better than Woods manor. Building and structure is not bad. But management is bad........ Very bad. They will spoil the property

An old and a rustic feeling hotel that had probably stood it's ground for a few good years. Now the cramped yet elegantly decorated elevators and cozy lobby reminds us how hotels didn't always be clinical and cold as some of them are now.
