Small Cafe and homestay with 3 rooms .
Run by a young Boy and Girl
Pretty expensive ,limited menu and average taste ...though ofcourse i appreciate that they are making a genuine effort to provide such stuff in a remote location ,but as I have had better taste in better prices in places like Kaza which is even a tougher area to manage facilities I wasn't as impressed.
We took sabidana vada, garlic bread and 2 chicken burgers ..paid 1300/-
Packing is very weak and took a long time too ,as almost everything was pre cooked like burger patty, vada ...
Good experience but not worth the money !!!
Enjoyed a warm cup of coffee and hot chocolate accompanied by veg sandwich with a splendid view of the Himalayas from its balcony.
Liked the place a lot! Food was authentic & yummy! Little expensive but worth it. View was also amazing. It's like a little oasis on way to Mukteshwar!
incredible carrot cake, great seating and terrace area too (-: i recommend the veggie sandwich, sabudana khichdi and ginger lemon tea.
Lovely place... amazing view, good food..nice hospitality different from the routine places on the route.
Went there again after few years... actually end up going there every time I visit this area.. liked it as much as before but felt the pinch in the pocket!!!
An honest review the place is greatly located u can see the himalyan peaks on a clear day. Coming to cafe's food it's rather average especially the chicken pizza which is more as a home pizza @450 for an 8 inch or so pizza , poha the MTR pack types - average also i have seen the prices go up overall by 30-40 percent from 170 a sandwich to 270 in like one season never figured out what was so different expect for some fries added to it then n now the ginger honey lemon tea is awesome n also the most reasonable beverage on the menu coffee is good. The sandwiches are decent especially the egg one however for the place n helping overall its over priced.
But again this place thrives on location n no competition. It's the only place so take it or leave it :)
Service is very decent and they serve with a smile.
Overall a 4 star I hope the owner akansha takes it as an honest feedback from a well wisher.
All the best team wildflower..
Spent a night at a very stragetically located roadside cafe and homestay in gagar, owned and run by a very charming and young couple. assisted by a small team of happy, eager boys.
Room is very tastefully done with all the amenities. i left the curtains open before sleeping and woke up to this mesmerizing pre- dawn sky ( if you are not a morning person, i suggest you keep the curtains closed as the rooms face east. )
food is scrumptious... the baked goodies speak of the owner's passion and love for baking, more than her training and experience ( which also is plenty)
Rest of the menu also caters to a variety of cravings and needs( which the mountain air stokes enough.)
on the whole its a lovely experience... You could spend hours sitting tn the sun reading OR indoors warming yourself with soups and fries if its raining.
wish all the best to the whole team of wildflower cafe.stay blessed and passionate about what makes you happy
The Himalayan view is added bonus!
This is by far one of the best cafes in the area! The view from the terrace is spectacular and one can see all of the mountain ranges while drinking delicious coffee and munching on their delicious food. We absolutely loved their cold coffee and hot chocolate and simply ADORED their pasta, sandwiches , and their snacks. Our absolute favourite happened to be their cinnamon roll and their carrot cinnamon cake. It was just DIVINE.
A beautiful property with stunning views of the surrounding hills. Each room is beautifully furnished and offers stunning views. The restaurant serves delicious food made with love and fresh ingredients. The menu includes a variety of Indian and Cont
