The Weekend Resort - Resort hotel in Jamshedpur, Sankarda - East Singhbum, India

Place was beautiful. We need to order one day before we go to the place. We wrote the food order details on WhatsApp but the owner couldn't take our food order properly. He added extra one plate chilli chicken, which we didn't ask for. When we said we don't want this. He said now we can't do anything as the food is ready. We didn't argue further and paid for that extra plate as well. The incident spoil our day and the happy mood. So double check with them after reaching the resort.

It will be less if I say that the place is excellent, it is beyond that if you are a nature lover and want to spend few days within a flower and vegetable garden. Moreover the warm hospitality of Mr Asit Bhowmick, Mr Dinesh and the whole staff will make the stay more feel at home. Special mention of their cook Uttam who made a nice change of our taste buds. They take care each and every minor thing including special food care of our little son. You will feel more lucky if the owner Mr Bikash Sahoo is also present, you will see him caring the garden for the whole day and is very friendly, it will be hard to believe that he is the owner rather you will feel like you are visiting a friend's place. He spent lots of time chatting with us on different topics starting from the basics of gardening to different stories of his life. Only cons is that the place is little far from the main tourist spots in Jamshedpur. You can drive your own but you will not enjoy the driving for sure due to the road conditions. But if you want they will arrange cars for you (they did for us) and in that case there will not be any issues. Moreover their warm hospitality will overcome this cons and you will enjoy the nature. I will surely visit again only to sit idle within the nature. Also Mr Bikash Sahoo presented us fruits and vegetables directly from his own grown farm. We are lucky to grab some papaya, guava, cauliflower and some more directly from the farm. Thanks to the whole team for making our holidays special

The place is perfect for a weekend trip with family and friends. One can relax amidst nature. Food is very tasty and the behaviour of the staff is very polite and courteous. It was amazing to see the variety of plantations currently available there.

The overall experience was HORRIBLE, will NOT recommend anyone to this resort. The food and the service was EXTREMELY PATHETIC. The food served was staled and when tried to give feedback the manager there was least bothered and has NO sense of hospitability. WE also called the owner to talk, he has NO time for customers. CLOSE the resort when you cannot manage and don't know anything about managing a hotel or even care for the service. DO NOT WASTE PEOPLE's HARD EARNED MONEY.

Fantastic, beautifully developed Family Destination. Good food, Supperbbb Eco ambiance...quick and fast service. But, during heavy rush days, their service management breaks down and food quality also degrades. Accommodation and parking available. However, outside the Resort campus, there is nothing to see or roam around in immediate vicinity...

It's a very good place for spending your weekend. People also can come as tourist for sight seeing of Jamshedpur and can have a lovely stay here. But it in a remote place and there is no conveyance around that place. It out of the city and it has only 5cottages each costing 2300/day and 1 dormitory to accommodate around 10people which cost 7000/day and there are additional 4 rooms which have a better facility than cottage cost 2600/day. It is a lovely place to spend your weekend, there is an artificial pond has greenery all around. This are some ducks which you will found around the pond. It has hilly view at back of the resort. For reaching there you can rely on Google maps but the road near the resort isn't that good. There is a small parking lot if you have your own vehicle.

We went for a quick lunch. Food was tasty and hygienic. The garden is something to look forward to

Wonderful experience. Its ideal destination for relaxing and rejuvenating amidst nature. The owner Barun da is a nice person and he will go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Delicious food cooked in a home style adds another reason why we should visit this place. The staffs are very friendly. Want to mention about one of the staff, Chhaku, who keep serving guests with smile; Chhaku will be always there when you need anything...I strongly recommended this place
