Fabulous friendly welcome and perfect location to explore Jaisalmer. Rooms comfortable and spotless. Padam arranged a wonderful overnight camel safari under the stars. and we were really well looked after by Hallam, Sawrup and Nabhu. One of our best stays in India.
Amazing guest house! All the staff are lovely and very helpful, picked us up and dropped us off for our trains. Rooms are clean and very reasonably priced. Would very much recommend doing a desert safari with Wanderlust as well, the trip was incredible!
Service is superb. Padam took care of us even before we arrived. We communicated with him via WhatsApp. He picked us up from the airport, organised our thar safari tour (must do), recommended walking tours and restaurants. After some stressful days before this was a super relaxing experience. Also the place is very comfy and just wants you to hang out there and let time pass by. Love it. Anytime again. Thanks for everything!
Wonderful guest house! The owner was very helpful and hospitable, picking ua up late at night and helping us to book a very early morning TukTuk. Rooftop area is very relaxing and the room was very very clean and comfortable.
If you're travelling to Jaisalmer then stay at Wanderlust and also book their Camel Safari. You'll be well looked after and will have a great experience too!
Brilliant hotel, one of the best we have stayed in Rajasthan. Clean sheets and lots of comfortable pillows. Room and bathroom was spotless, toiletries, clean towels, and toilet roll provided. The king room is great for families as the have 3 small sofa beds in the windows, and they provide extra blankets. The location is also good, just a short walk from the market and fort!
I stayed here for about a month and had a pleasant time. The owner, Padam, is an exceptionally helpful person, he went out of his way to make sure I have all I need. The place is modest, but the atmosphere convivial. I enjoyed meeting travelers throughout my stay at the rooftop whether over some chai and paratha in the morning or beer in the evening. The kitchen staff were very friendly toward me and I loved sitting in the corners, reading a book and taking in the view. Though it is located around a 15 minute walk to the center, it's a fun walk and you get to see much of the city along the way. Like most other Indian cities, it starts to get louder in the morning, so sleeping in isn't very feasible (at least for me). Long story short, I'm returning to Jaisalmer soon, this time with my partner, and hope to stay here again.
I cannot tell you enough how amazing this safari and our time at the Wanderlust were. Padam is an incredible host, even driving us to our bus stop in the end and letting us leave our luggage for the entire time there, although we did not even book a room. The rooftop restaurant is also super chill, a great place for food and to hang out. The Veg Kofta was amazing, so was the Mutter Paneer. Veg Biryani is different to what we're used in India to but also tasted nice. All freshly prepared from scratch. Pot of ginger lemon tea is fresh and very strong. Great view of the fort. And I haven't even started with the camel overnight safari yet. The feeling of sleeping under the open sky, with stunning sunset and sunrise and thousands of stars (I'm not exaggerating) is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The food there (breakfast and dinner) were so delicious as well! Our incredible and welcoming tour guides made the stay even better - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
