We took a night halt at Shahdol and came to know of this ancient temple. Worth a visit if you pass thro this area.
Good place in shahdol, but not too much development near by, no washroom no water drinking facilities, architecture is marvellous, build in 11 century, same style as khajuraho temples
The Holy temple of MAHADEV is just on the side of BANGANGA . This place contains a very rich history in it . If you are a very religious person, definitely come to this place it will give you inner peace and spirituality.
Whenever u vist this place it gives you peace and the nearby area looks mesmerizing. It's clean you can go their for picnic or as a tourist destination do not litter it. Photos are allowed to take and the architecture is awesome. If you look closely you can see the handicrafts cut out on stone using chisel and hammer so beautifully.
This is the 10th century shiv temple constructed by ruler of kalchuri dynasty mahraja Yuvrajdev the front portion which was damaged was newly constructed by Raja Gulab Singh of Rewa. Craving done on the temple is very nice and environment is also nice
