Good rooms, car parking area, good service.

This is my home in kerala. Since the moment it was built. My sisters engagement and all our stays and even my recent wedding events were here... Thus im a bit partial to it... But service seriously needs to improve (they lack staff). Good rooms. Slow room service. Great housekeeping.. Food is good too...

Budget hotel for stay in Kollam. Large room. The room I got had a dining area as separate room. Good idea to keep smells from permeating the sleeping area. The bathroom door stopper was broken and so the door could not open fully. Goes to say that maintenance needs to be more prompt. All in all good for short stays with attached restaurant. The morning breakfast could be earlier. Restaurant is fully functional only by 8 am. From 7 you can get idlis though. And coffee from 6.30am.

Its Such a good place for tourists, with reasonable Fare for the quality of shelter, though the restaurant's service was a bit lag while serving food, it takes around 30 mins for the order you made to reach. The food quality and Quantity was descent, and the place was clean and comfy. Had a nice time out there.

One of the best mid segment hotels at Quilon. I always prefer Vaidya Hotel to stay whenever I come to Kollam. They are having good, clean and spacious rooms. The restaurant has good breakfast menu too. I strongly recommend this place.

Good place but relatively poor and slow service due to lack of staff. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Features are good. Parking space can be improved. The in house restaurant serves decent food but again the service is kind of slow. We had to change rooms once as the AC was not working. Still I'd recommend the place.

May be I chose the wrong room category. I should have gone for the superior room. The toilet/bath in the deluxe room was like a short tunnel (about 3' wide and 8' long). Besides the shower/tap and closet, it only has a soap tray and a towel rod. There is no provision to even hang extra clothes. Because of the narrow width, you will not be able to take a shower comfortably. The exhaust in the toilet was not working properly, maybe because there outside shutters seem to be closed. The room was fairly spacious and clean. The sink is positioned outside the toilet/bath in the dressing area, which again is spacious. In my room only the hot water was working in the sink. We had room service dinner and breakfast in the coffee shop, which was a very small area - but food was quite good. If the management could employ a professional GM, maybe this hotel can go to greater heights.

I had a one day stay at this hotel. Cleanliness of the room was good. Service was also good. The sliding windows at the room was in a very bad condition (unable to lock only). House keeping was also poor. There was no towels available in the room. I had to vacate the room at the middle of the night because of the security issue.
