THE UMED - Hotel in Jodhpur - Jodhpur, India

One word describe..Totally fake staff at Reception....At the time of booking the hotel over the counter I had informed them we want late check out in evening 5 pm,they got agree and taken advance payment..after few minutes they informed us you have to check out before 11 am..I think so this guys required aptitude test or what kind of sense they have god knows. As it near by location of station we were planning to have coprates meeting but such kind of staff has automatically spoils the hotel image.

We visited the hotel at around 9 30 pm and gave clear instructions of our requirement of checking out at 6pm the next day and they agreed for the same. After paying full amount we went out for dinner and on returning they started asking for more money at 11pm for next days checkout time and on denying our booking was cancelled which was really inconvenient and frustrating we had to find other hotel at 11pm.... Just too baddd. Worst experience... Worst staff.. worst gesture

I have stayed in this hotel and tbh the hotel looks good, it is maintained well but the service is not that good. After complaining about certain problems, no one came and we had to go down to the reception to report the problem. One more important thing is that the keys of the room also stuck a lot like we had to correct it by ourselves so I would advise THE UMED to adopt a card entry system for rooms it would be a good investment for them. And kindly improve your service.

Very very convenient location ...Easy accessible from train station . Local market is just walkable distance . Food also very flavourful specially try their Chinese dishes . Had a very comfortable stay at this hotel . Very safe for solo and family travellers .

We booked and confirmed the booking 5 days prior & inspite they gave us the upgraded room which was not required by us cause they handed over the rooms to walk in bookings. Than next day there was no call or update for shifting the room too and we left for the city tour and in between they started calling and asked us to empty the room so we left 1 spot and came back to vacant the rooms for them on 1 call. The room we booked were so small & no space & ventilation is not their & amenities facilities everything was damn worst, so don't get in the trap of pics provided under the category. The manager is so rude, mannerless, irresponsible & didn't have courtesy to say sorry for the behaviour too. He will talk nicely untill you are good once you start complaining he will start putting allegations on you. There was honeybee in room & I complained about it when we again shifted to the room and from there this person started blaming us that we left window open but inspite the honeybee was already there in the room when we checked in a day before. Unfortunately couldn't take the pics as we were busy catching the honeybee for our safety & we threw it on our own cause the extension phone was not working itself. Bathroom faucet was not working too. Also there was cockroach in towel and i saw this when i used it after bathing. Bathroom was so small that you can only stand in one direction. Ac is not operational from room as they control from reception & cooling was not effective too.They didn't provided us towels too when we shifted the room when we asked they said we dont have extras and all our towels are in laundry. Inshort waste of money. Parking is not safe here as they ask you to park on road where place is empty. Overpriced than what was served. NOT AT ALL HYGIENE & SERVICES MENTIONED ARE NOT AVAILABLE HERE. Note: Not a good location for family stay. P.S. I couldn't attach the pics here as option is not coming but you can check at Make My Trip app you will get the idea their. The only good thing is the food is good in taste & quantity. SUGGESTION: The owner must take a note on this as the manager is spoiling the reputation & name of the hotel.

One of the worst hotel of Jodhpur . They don't allow you food from outside but you don't have any right to check the bags of any customer or what they are having this is hospitality industry worst ever don't come to this hotel waste of money 2016 rupees . Worst worst

a decent hotel. the ambience is very calm, and the best part: it's very close to railway station. the not so good part is: you've to check out at 11am sharp. we stayed on the third floor, the view was good. also, there was no noise all night, we slept like a baby. their menu is vast & reasonable. some parts of the bedsheet were stained, otherwise, the whole room was clean & well-maintained. the bathroom had geyser & other facilities too, but the sink tap didn't work. overall, a good stay.

Good hotel at close proximity to the railway station. A little bit difficult to find the first time.
