The Travancore Heritage - Resort hotel in Chowara, Kottukal - Thiruvananthapuram, India

I have stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. Service is definitely commendable and food is also good and tasty. Rooms are well maintained and sufficiently equipped, provided with a 24/7 water heating and air conditioning, kettle and mini fridge. The dining area has a good view of the sea and beach, with sufficient vegetarian options. They don't have permits to serve hard liquor, but they are serving beers. In house parking space is available, a small inhouse store is available for souvenirs. The beach is accessible from the resort, only problem is morning there will be a loud speaker that starts the gospel from the church nearby.

I had a wonderful experience here. I must emphasize the resort's perfect location. The only drawback I noticed was that the rooms they offer may not fully justify the price they charge. However, everything else exceeded my expectations, including the calm and peaceful ambiance, the attentive service, and the quality of the food. The amenities they provide are also impressive; they have a beach volleyball court, activity rooms for indoor games, multiple indoor and outdoor gathering areas, two pools, and much more.

We were there on a day package with family and friends. The facility has great views and had beach access. A great place to sit and enjoy the breeze and the view. Game room was strictly average. Pool was alright. Kids park not maintained. Toilets were not enough in numbers and not neat enough including the change rooms and shower in the pool area (play area pool). The food was below average and considering the cost rather poor. The facility do not have parking and vehicles are valet parked at a distance. It took half an hour for the driver to bring the car. There were no courtesy to inform the potential delay and made me wait holding a sleeping child at the entrance. Moreover, when the displeasure was expressed, it seems to have no bearing. The staff at the restaurant were highly professional and courteous. This and the location are the only saving grace.

Excellent experience I had. Rooms were very clean. Beautiful ambience. A classical instrument musical show during dinner was memorable. I will visit again. Food is costly.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staffs, Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room was bit small but well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back in the future.

We stayed for a couple of days in this hotel. The location is beautiful, the bungalows are spread out in a nice garden, and the beach is just a 2 minute walk away. I was there with my sister, her boyfriend, their little kid and our parents, and we all enjoyed it a lot. Especially the little guy, because the staff was super friendly with him. Cheers to our waiters Akhil, Vishnu and Sajith. They have a big variety of indian and western cuisine, and sometimes they have a big buffet for a very reasonable price. I would come again!

Had an amazing time at Travancore Heritage Hotel, Trivandrum. The stunning beach view and easy accessibility were remarkable. The pool was perfect for both kids and adults, adding to the fun. The delectable food was a delight to the taste buds. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. It was nice to see the owner actively involved in the hotel's operations. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend.

We had a team outing on 28th September. We were around 30+ members with families. Ore booking was done about a week ago with an associate from the resort. He was extremely helpful and always chose to say Yes to our demands and requirements. We had an awesome day spent with bunch of group activities, pool activities and good food as well. The staff were extremely supportive and very hospitable. I would definitely recommend for a day outing to this beautiful traditional 22 years old heritage home. One need not hesitate to put in your requirements well before your proposed day out. Altogether it was a wonderful experience.
