The Tipsy Bison's Restobar - Bar in Coonoor - The Nilgiris, India

Went there for quick bite and drinks. They have private cabins and outdoor seating too but all covered. The only drawback is that it's on the main road. Their cocktails are really good. Ordered one mango kiwi blossom and whiskey sour with egg. Whisky sour was amazing. They have variety of beers. We ordered some fries, peanut masala that were good. Fries were really crispy. Had one Reshmi kabab for starters, which was well made but the meat was hard and chewy. Prices were reasonable too.

Really nice bar in Coonoor. They have recently opened, so not much information available online. The interior of the place looks nice and the cocktails are great. I tried two different ones. Staff also really really friendly. One small point of criticism: toilet was dirty and there was no toilet paper. Other than that all good!! Also much better than the Hopscotch bar we visited where the music kept skipping a beat.

Excellent experience Everyone is friendly. Food is really fresh and testy. Very Relaxing and satisfying culture. At last, Honestly My Self experience is very very happy and super duper Wow.

The chettinad chicken curry was really nice here. The place is like a bar with a darker ambiance that would be good for dinner.

Hidden gem in Coonoor. Hop off the train or bus and it's right there. Excellent Seafood- we had the calamari, crab and fried prawns, all of which were out of this world. The chicken done biryani had fall off the bone chicken with excellent flavor. Butter chicken and naan were already outstanding. Mocktails with great as well.

1. Service: service is the most important thing you expect when you go out somewhere. Very poor service, it took us more than an hour to fulfill our order that too when the restaurant was not crowded. 2. Quality: if not service at least you'd expect the quality of food to be at par. The food was not delicious at all. 3. Quantity: the prices are pretty high considering the quantity they are serving. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tipsy Bison Restobar in Coonoor, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance is fantastic with trendy decor and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere... their cocktail menu is impressive , with creative and delicious drinks. it's now one of my favourite spots in town !
