The Tiger Valley Resort - Resort hotel in Tala, Garhpuri - Umaria, India

We stayed on 20th November 2023, location is best. We heard so many calls of deers and apes at midnight and early morning. Best place for wildlife lovers. This area is near to the core zone. I am sure that you can find tiger or leopard if you stay here for two or three days. Staffs are good they help a lot. When we stayed no other guest was available in the resort due to weekdays, it was very scary to walk at night, but one of the staff was continue with us, he helped us alot, unfortunately i forgot his name. The management should atleast barricade surrounding of resort, because any wild animals can come inside the reorts and can attack in night when you walk for dinner. Overall we enjoyed a lot and forgot the negativities because this is more than a safari to stay here. We will visit here in every 4 to 5 months. Thanks a lot!

Being very Honest on feedback. I don't want anyone to regret as well did. " we went for couple stays in this hotel, the ROOMs we very BIG, hardly anything working in any of the rooms, we had Book 12 Rooms. Couple rooms were changed couple of times, as A/C was not functional. NO other amenities were provided in every room. Rooms were far from reception. With NO Intercom though telephone was there in rooms. Foods was Good but limited only. I happen to go to kitchen couple of times, it was very dirty & messed up. No other place in campus to sit in outdoor. Very very Bad experience, we had checked out after first night itself.

, Away from the city, this resort built in the core area of the forest . It was adventurous to stay here . If you are lucky If you are lucky, you may not only hear the roar of the lion but also see the lion sitting in the meadow across the road from the roof of the resort.

Property is superb... Swimming pool here is to die for... Nice rooms with great view...

I visited this resort in Dec'20 along with my wife and another couple. Resort is situated right in the heart of Bandhavgarh forest area which is extremely rare (probably the only resort as all others are near more commercialized Tala area). Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Food was delicious and it was included in our package. Icing on the cake was the bonfire under a nice hay canopy. Dinning hall is made right on top of a small lake and staff told us it's not unusual to site a tiger from the resort itself. They also arranged a short trek to the jungle behind the resort and we could see evidences like paw marks, scratches on a tree and feces confirming tiger's presence just a short while back. While staff was friendly they can definitely improve service. Couple of things we asked for took very long time and we had to remind multiple times. Other area is amenities for recreation, they had a table tennis table and carom board but they can add things like pool table, board games etc. as people in general have lot of time at hand. They were constructing a swimming pool when I visited and it should be ready by mid 2021. Considering we went during peak near year season, rates weren't too high and we could get a good deal post negotiation. Strongly recommend to folks looking for a not too crowded peaceful resort. :)

Amazing resort with good and helpful staff, awesome food , huge rooms and a Great Manager Ashish. He is so knowledgeable and friendly and is ready with some great information on nature . The view from the terrace and the dining area is pure bliss for birders as it's surrounded by water bodies so a lot of birds are spotted around the same and photographers can have a field day clicking them. At night you can hear elephants and tigers and all kinds of nocturnal sounds . You can spot deer and other small animals around the resort and if u r lucky then even a tiger outside the resort as it's surrounded by a forest. You can literally skip 1 evening safari and still may not be dissapointed. Overall an amazing experience though we stayed only for a day due to already booking another resort. This is a must stay if u love to stay in a forest with all the luxury of a hotel.

Not at all kids friendly area, food is just ok

The resort is located closest to jungle and resort ambiance is very good, highly chanses to see the tiger from hotel terriss, i stayed there three night's with my family and saw lot of wildlife from resort. Nice food and very helpfullstaff,. Thank you tiger valley to make our stay memorable. Very thanks to manager ashish gupta for nature walk and village walk he have good knowladge of wildlife.
