A private museum displaying the history and culture of Jaisalmer and its surroundings through photos and objects. What makes it even more interesting is that the owner gives you a tour explaining about the artifacts. This made our visit very unique, interactive and informative! Highly recommended!
small museum with an ethnological collection of objects of everyday life of the people who live in the Thar desert. its a private museum founded by a man whose passion is it to conserve the local culture. he will enthusiastically explain the collection to you if he is around. sadly the collection has suffered from a fire some time ago and now the owner needs every support he can get for restoring the museum at this new location. visit is highly recommended.

This museum is a hidden gem! We enjoyed a private tour with the founder of the museum as we visited during deepavali and there weren't any other visitors. Its a simple, small, yet very intersting and diverse collection that we recommend to explore. In comparison with other museums in Jaisalmer and Rajasthan its definitely good value for very little money ;)
Lovely museum, Thanks to Mr. Laxmi Narayan Khatri g, he explained us about the culture of Rajasthan with a lot of patience and dedication and showed us all the artifacts. The handmade products are worth buying. I will definitely visit this museum again and highly recommend everyone with the keen interest in the history of India
