The TEA Room -- 1st floor in iconic TEA BOARD building overlooking the busy tea board crossing with hundreds of people and vehicles cross crossing but this quiet room provides u an unique ambience to sip tea and gossip with with friends and colleagues over a cup of hot piping cup of first flush. The place by GOODRICKE a group is one of its kind in Kolkata and showcases all and anything about TEA. Snacks along with tea are available aplomb and are compatible . Taste of food is good and pricing are moderate. Packets of various sizes and varieties are available for sale sourced from different Tea gardens of GOODRICKE located in various parts of India Overall a place to be in your bucket list (Note : the place closes at 7pm )
Nice teashop , tidy, calm and serene amidst the ultimate chaos just outside. You can gaze the hungama outside peeping through the window and slide back again to the slumber and adda sipping the tea and lip smacking savouries and sweet cakes, macaroons. This is a Goodrick tea shop. presenting all their teas, all varieties in hot and cold avatars, and mind it Goodrick tea only. The shop is very aesthetically done, from entrance in the ground floor upto the payment, all is well thought off. The simple and restrained decor inspite of all the advertisement, the spacious sitting arrangements, courteous but cheerful staff all add to the nice experience. The accompaniment s to the tea, sandwiches, pasta, canape, etc are fresh and tasty.

Absolutely in love with this place and its ambience- calming and quiet in the busy streets of central kolkata. Their tea is just delicious- i tried their kashmiri kahwa and white tea. Aromatic and soothing at the same time. Their fudgy brownie and nachos and their mini glass savoury items were yum. The seating arrangements are comfortable and aesthetic. Their decor is beautiful. Go-to place for all tea lovers
