Had a recent stay at Tamara Coorg. I must say, this was my best stay till date. We had been here on a weekday, making the place less crowded and having access to lunch/dinner breakfast/dinner buffet peacefully. We even got the best room of the property room no 216. Food was amazing but the best part of the property is the view from your room. Just immaculate. I was sick and down with a fever when I reached the property , but recovered on the next day with the quality of food, air and treatment I got from the staff. I would like to thank Deekshith for the special care like providing a steamer and sending the in-house nurse and checking on my health frequently. My overall rating is 5/5.
We went to Tamara for lunch. The resort is beautifully designed. The location is spectacular with thick foliage/plantation and there are two streams flowing through the property. The rooms and restaurants are spread out across the property so one needs to take a buggy to reach the restaurant from the reception. The lunch buffet spread was huge and catered to all tastes and pallets. We would definitely go there again.
It was indeed a surreal experience for me , the place was just beautiful with lush green surroundings. The cleanliness was spotless , food was amazing. A special shout out to the whole Tamara crew, thank you for all the hardwork you guys put in to make our stay great :) They always had a beautiful smiles on their faces . We have spent 2 beautiful nights with sky full of stars which we do not see in the busy city lives. I would definitely visit again with my family.
Lovely resort for a getaway! The food and service is fabulous. The entire route and journey towards the property is also lush and secluded. From the reception to the restaurant staff and even housekeeping - attention to detail is definitely there. The staff is friendly and happy to help whenever required. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Tamara - highly recommend.
The name is enough the tamara...all staff and manager are very kind and supportive...but in case if we need extra brush or something cosmetic item... than they provide very cheap quality product rather than original one....if they charge this much than they have to provide same product not cheap
Highly recommended. One of the most peaceful holidays I've been for. The staff is very warm and helpful with everything.
Good service. Good staff. Good good. Things were nice and view from rooms are the best. We had to see rain when we were here. Oh wow. It brought all those perfect vibe to be here. Travel is bit tough here.
Location is great, service is also quick and professional. The room had a gorgeous view of the forests and mountains around the area. As this is sported as a luxury resort, and highly priced to that effect, the expectation also will be that it is maintained that well. However our room had dust and dirt accumulated on the corners, walls, beside the sofa and chairs. In the foyer area, there was dirt stuck to the floor and was looking gross. The glass door to the balcony, though cleaned, had a lot of marks on them. It was quite disappointing to see this. Restaurant was quite average, spread was a medium one, tasted alright but nothing stood out so much that we had to go for seconds. Expected coffee to be excellent as the place is known for it but was too milky (was already mixed) and coffee flavour didn't come through well. The highlight of the stay was the short trek we took, our guide Siddhaanth was knowledgeable on the biodiversity of the region very well and shared a lot of insights. Thanks.
