THE SUNSHINE RESORT - Resort hotel in Lonavala - Pune, India

A bit pricy tbh, rooms range around 3.5k to 4k per room. Location is great, general store and breakfast stalls are nearby. Condition of the rooms are ok, as its a rain prone area so moisture will be there but overall, a great stay.. July - Sept - peak season (high price)

1)Food prices is very high.I will suggest don't order food from inside the resort beacuse quality is low as compared to the price (Tasteless)for e.g-Poha. 2) swimming pool location is not comfortable for women's beacuse it's near to the and entry point. 3) Reception people's not clearing the rules at the initial level and when you will completing the checkout formalities then they will release the rules and takes extra charges. overall I am disapponted about the facilities.

The sunshine Resort of lonawala is good Resort and there resort is room is very big size,neet and clean and Dinner,lunch,service is very Good and I am very apperiacate to all staff of resort and Heart'ly thank To reception person MR.Vinayak sir, Thanks Regards Ramit sharma

Staff was friendly room was clean and room boy is so good person,helpfull and obediant but no one ask me for breakfast but other evry thing is good room was clean and with nice smail

I didn't liked the hotel...the room which was provided to us was not properly maintained....not enough space...charging VERY HIGH to change the check out timings... according to their rooms and location they shouldn't charge high rates....very bad experience....I recommend others try other 3 star hotels which will cost the same but they'll provide u better rooms...

I'm going to write a detailed review so that people will atleast think before wasting their time and money here. We were looking for a pet friendly place where our pet can also stay and enjoy with us. First of all its NOT at all a PET friendly place. 1)We booked it on call and paid the advance but didn't receive any confirmation message from their side. I had to call again and again for confirmation. 2)The moment we entered inside the hotel they said your dog should not bark at night, he should not disturb others. (Ok I understood, but how can I tell this to my dog? ) So I requested the receptionist that give us a room in first floor so that there will be less noice and he won't bark but they said no. They gave us room just near to the parking area and continues noise was there. It like you went there to enjoy silence away from city but you got room near road only. Totally disappointed. 3) No towel/hand towel was given, bedsheets was looking old and blanket was smelling. 4) Swimming pool is nice but not covered and girls may not feel comfortable going to pool because you will feel as if you are bathing in road, people were watching you from outside. 5) we ordered tea at 9pm but they denied saying it's dinner time. So we requested them to bring it from outside, but the guy said you will not get tea anywhere at this time. (Really? At 9pm? That too in a hotel) So my husband decided to bring it from outside. Guess what we got harman chaiwala just 2mins away from their gate. 6) Food is so expensive and not worth. We ordered 4 boiled eggs but got after 1 hour 30 mins and price was 160rs for 4 boiled eggs that too was served with salt no onions nothing. Then we ordered dinner and gave special instructions that make it non-spicy but they added a lot of spices, masala that we had to throw that butter paneer masala. I ordered chicken chilli but they gave chicken crispy. Again it was not nice. If you just want to go and stay in your room then its a ok type of place but if you are thinking that you will enjoy your weekend then don't waste your money. Very noisy place, staff is not that helpful. Gave 2 star just for the swimming pool. Otherwise they don't deserve a single star.
