The Square - Fusion restaurant in New Town - 24 Paraganas North, India

Had an amazing stay at the hotel and restaurant in particular was the best. Great food served by even greater people. Loved the hospitality. The staff goes a long way to make sure you have a nice meal. Special mention to Manushree - The hostess for always helping us with best seats and making sure we were treated the best.

Food was below average. In a lunch buffet, you have options for varieties of chicken dishes. No prawn or Mutton dishes. Desserts were good. Mocktails were not up to the mark.

Ambience and service was great. Food was good. I had a buffet brunch here, and I liked chicken bharta the most.

The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of Novotel in New Town. You have to walk through the lobby and by the Sante bar to reach the place. Once there, the attendants greet you and take you to your seat. The restaurant is quite large and open, but the tables are placed extremely close to each other, and as a result it looks a bit cramped. The service is very prompt and good; the waiters are polite and doting. The managers patrol the floor and take action reasonably quickly. They are receptive to advice and suggestions as well. Coming to the food, there is a starter counter adjacent to the live counter. There are 2 veg and 2 non-veg starters, and you can get a variety of fish and meat fried at the live counter. There are some veg options as well. There's a soup station, and a curd station as well. Near the middle of the seating area, you'll find a salad and gol-gappa/chaat counter. Coming to the main course, there's a curd and raita station near the area for the Indian food items. Each and every item here tasted quite good, especially the daal. There's an Asian food area, but that isn't anything to write home about. There isn't much variety, and whatever is there is mostly mediocre. The momos are good though. The dessert area is where the restaurant shines again. Apart from a few bland items (which, oddly, look quite pleasant), most other items taste top notch. There were 3-4 varieties of Indian sweets, 3-4 varities of panna cottas, yogurts, and cup desserts, and 3-4 types of cheesecakes. You have tarts, gateauxes, and cut fruits as well. They have 6 varieties of "ice-creams" but I in my opinion, those were frozen desserts. There was a live band, and a person was going from table to table, displaying quick magic tricks. We got 50% off, thanks to Swiggy Dineout's GIRF. At this price, this was quite the value for money. You not only pay for the meal but for the overall experience, and the experience was pretty nice for us.

We went there yesterday for lunch . Food was average. There were many food items in buffet menu. You can easily choose from them. Ambiance and service was great. I want to mention the name of our service boy, Mr Karmakar. He was very good in his job. Over all good experience.

Great ambiance. The lunch with the music was enjoyable. There were many choices for the lunch buffet. The Indian dishes were better than the Chinese options. The chicken was a better dish. The starters were good. There was no soup though. The pudding in the dessert was a must try.

Excellent food. The hilsa festival is amazing. First time had ilish ravoli a Boneless dish. Jus awsome and yummy.

Hey guys this is one of the highest five-star hotel restaurant that I visited last year. This place has got great amazing food and also as it is self service so you don't have to wait for the food to be delivered to you. Washroom and the whole area of fooding is really clean and sanitised always and it's very big so there will be no problem if many people are together celebrating something. But one of the bad recipe I discovered is the mutton recipe. Well all the chicken items are one of the best tested chicken items. And ice creams are amazing. And sugar patients also can have sweets because they have sugar free sweets and ice creams there. The foods are not so oily and not so rich, so any people can have the foods. The service is really amazing because the workers are so fast and they wait before you leave the table so they can clean the table as soon as possible and leave. I love the salad section because there are a lot of salads and I love to eat salads so I will give five rating to the Salad section. And what are the best ideas I had is pizza because the pizza was so amazing to taste and it's so lightweight but even its cheesy. There are a lot of pizza items so you can choose any of them. It's really good for your first date or your anniversary celebration. Must visit place and there are lot of people who give want to writing to the service section but I won't give , to me they were really good they were smiling and very helpful so you can make sure that you can visit the place. But without taking the mutton you can go for all the chicken items. And also you can visit the pool side and also the side scenes of the hotel and also you can take pictures. The charges of the each plate charges every year so approximately for one person it may take Rs1500-2000.
