The Square Family Restaurant and Bar - Indian restaurant in Gangtok - East District, India

One of the best restaurants in MG Marg, Gangtok. You need to look for it and go down a few flight of stairs but, trust me, it will be worth it. Everything here is on point..the food- flavourful and not too oily, ambience - relaxing and easy on the eyes, music - great selection of songs at the right volume. A must visit for anyone looking for a quality time.

We had a great dinner at the Square family restaurant. The place has a very happening ambiance and is good for casual dinner and drinks. Due to the ongoing water scarcity some of the dishes like soups etc were not available. We tried a few chicken and fish starters followed by their signature Chicken Sizzler which we enjoyed very much. Overall this is a very nice place and would recommend all people visiting MG Marg to check this out

This place is situated in the MG Mark area itself. Also there is sister brand of restaurant that is adjacent to this place. Ambience is really nice, and mild ambient music soothing to your soul. We had a beautiful dining experience there. We had ordered BBQ pork ribs, thukpa, LIIT and Hot toddy. Every dish was cooked to perfection and served in ample quantity. Liquor price tends to be on the higher side which is expected of places of this nature. I must recommend to the fellow travellers who will be visiting in near future.

Ambiance was great. Food Quality, Price and Quantity of food was very reasonable. One bad thing was that the staffs were very busy and not as helpful as anyone would expect. Overall great experience.

Excellent ambience, great food and fantastic cuisine collection. Polite staff makes your experience worthy. You might have to wait a little, but the food will be worth it. Definitely recommend it !!!

liked their mixed sizzlers. fried pork was little bit chewy but tasted good.

Food was great. Awesome taste. But service was pathetic, staff didn't ever serve after delivering the food. A few staff were rude. However, there was a guy (manager or owner I guess) was extremely caring about guest. But later the same staff came and making comments about raising concerns in front of him.

Amazing food. Tried their chopsuey and special chicken sizzler. Loved the taste. I have been to many restaurants in Gangtok and I can easily say this one serves the best!!
