The Solitaire Express - Hotel in Dehradun - Dehradun, India

The stay was excellent. The ambience and cleanliness in the hotel was impeccable. The staff is most friendly, cooperative and helpful. This was our second stay at the hotel and would love to return again.

It has very comfortable and fairly spacious rooms with all amenities such as running hot water, coffee/ tea maker, wifi, etc Service is nice, tending towards being overbearing. It's located almost in the city center. Hence, for those visiting Dehardun, it's good, and for those who are using it as a transit place, they have to manage the traffic. It has limited parking place. Food is average.

Stayed here for one night after the trek. The only benefit of staying here was it is located in City of Dehradun. Problems I had with the place. 1. Room is too tiny with no windows, we have no idea what time of the day or night it is here. 2. No ventilation whatsoever, claustrophobic. 3. Hot water doesn't work, we didn't take a shower. 4. AC doesn't reduce or increase. 5. On asking the staff, to come and help with the AC, they are so rude and have the audacity to tell us to make peace with 14deg C room temperature. 6. lift was not working. my Room was 3rd Floor. I use 5 time Stairs with my Child. is Big Fault

Good facilities, good food, very cooperative and welcoming staff and we had a great time there!

Super rooms and lavish bathrooms. Very comfortable stay with helpful staff. Location is great too with access to malls and locals shops.

I was not satisfied with the first response hotel staff gave to me after arrival and proceeding for checking. They denied my early arrival check in. Afterwards with lots of calling, i got my room. Afterward, they served good, hotel room and bathroom was clean . Food was also good .

too suffocated rooms...there was no fan in the room and they have centralized ac in their rooms...no exhaust fan in bathroom...room was filled with the stinky smell from washroom as there is no ventilation..one could not eat anything...moreover their ac's remote is attached to wall ..they have completely planned to disturb u full night as if u want to modify the temperature u have to leave the bed as remote is fixed to the wall .... although staff was cooperative and polite with us... haven't tried their meal as one could not have anything in the room due to stinky smell from washroom.. won't recommend to anyone else due to damn suffocated rooms... too small and suffocated rooms...no cross ventilation..no fan ..no exhaust fan

Rooms have no ventilation. Hot water doesn't work. Plus when you book make sure to book the right Solitaire hotel because they have 3 branches
