The Social - Restaurant in Hamirpur - Hamirpur, India

After so much hype of this place I decided to visit it for my lunch. First, I ordered Veg Manchow Soup which had a balance of sourness of soy sauce and heat of chillies and decent amount of veggies. In appetizers I ordered Paneer Achari Tikka and Veg Salt & Pepper both had decent portion but I disappointed because Paneer Tikka doesn't have Achari flavor and I expected Veg Salt & Pepper to be steamed but it was deep fried. For main course, I ordered Kadhai Paneer & Dal Makhani. Dal Makhani doesn't have creamy texture which comes from continuous simmering dal but it was mashed and added lot of cream to justify it as Dal Makhani. Also, it was way too much salty. For desserts, I ordered ice cream and hot gulab jamun but gulab jamun wasn't hot but warm, harder and not soft enough.

The setting and hospitality were excellent. ordered excellent tandoori chicken, chilli cheese, and French fries (for kids). The dalmakahni and mixed veg were delicious and moderately spicy, as requested by us. Overall, a must-visit restaurant in Hamirpur for family and friends to dine

What a pathetic experience. Their service is very poor. They just let us be on our own, we had to go to the kitchen/reception area to place our order. Nobody cared to take order or atleast serve water. The waiters were busy watching Facebook videos. Moreover we visited when it was the epic Ind vs Pak match. We requested them to play that in their 52 inch TV which they refused stating "Family aati hai yahan par wo match nahi dekhna chahegy" and played some Telugu film instead. And there was no one in the restaurant other than us :) Coming to food- haha please just spare your taste buds from eating anything here. Seedhi baat hai idhar nahi jaane ka apna din kharab karna hai :)

Food- disappointment, No damm was given to customer service. Only thing that could have saved the day was T.V, but that too was non functional. And all this during Ind VS Pak T20 world cup match.... Spare a thought for this

Whenever we want to organise any office party or any family gathering , our first choice always be "The Social" because neither Suraj nor Dayal can beat their taste. Good going "The Social"

Had party today , not me even kids to elders of the family enjoyed this place .... And thanks to pankaj and team even raman who made this day rememberable.... Sorry not to mention other staff name but it is purely a team work.... Kudos team social

Awesome food, nice service, overall hospitality are good, nice ambience. Thank you so much for good services.

The ambience is very good moreover it is the best in Hamirpur but we ordered paneer tika which was not available at the very moment. And the service was slow.
