The Siena Village - Resort hotel in Chinnakanal - Idukki, India

According to the price the hotel was good. Uperb location but the roads to hotel were bad. Rooms were okay. They did not have hot kettle, and basic toiletries. But apart from that food was decent and location was perfect.

We had been at this garden resort for 2 N on 26 and 27 Nov 23 . It was a relaxing experience away from munnar by 45 mins. Food, ambience, location, service was excellent . Balcony gives a mountain view which is at its best.Book a duplex suit which gives fantastic mountain view. Also if one is lucky enough can see mist also during any time.

It was an amazing experience at the Sienna Village. I have known this resort since 2000 from it's construction days. The ambience and hospitality are kept at its best. Food and accommodation are also to our full satisfaction. It's interesting to note that their own farm grown vegetables are used by the chef, swimming pool and gym are functional in the resort. One of the finest hotels in the surroundings with a beautiful view and a comfortable stay. People working here are so kind - right from security to the managers. They've a beautiful vegetable garden and cardamom plantation which you can visit. Would highly recommend this property.

Good location and very beautiful resort, atmosphere of resort is very pleasant, room service is very good and staff are attentive and co-operative,also food quality of restaurant is very good, best stay with family near munnar in good location, if stay in munnar for 2-3 days then it is very good resort,

We booked for 2 nights and absolutely loved the stay. The hygiene has been top notch hands down! The manager Mr. sushil, receptionists, the servers and the chef have been extremely professional and very welcoming. Food was incredible and they had the tribal food options on their menu which is definitely a must try. Definitely coming back to siena village for another stay

Seeing pictures, I booked this place. Here is my honest review. The valley view- The valley view is blocked by the trees, so you get only a good big hill view which is behind resort. I booked the smaller ground floor room and it costed me around 6K per night(with B/F), i feel that was a bit too much for this property. The property is on steep hill so, walking up and down is a bit of task if you are unfit like me. It's maintained well. Gardens are well kept and looks beautiful. Breakfast was really good ! What was disappointing was a first day room service. Fried Rice and Noodles was missing salt which we had to call again and fix it ourselves (it takes literally less than a minute for the chef to taste test it and send it off to room). Price of food was reasonable. Another thing which disappointed me was loud music which they play every evening. Usually we come here for relaxation and loud music on speakers was disappointing. Next morning we wanted to wake up to sound of birds but what kept us annoyed was loud music from neighbouring property. Anyway, the service is good, but i feel it's not as much worth what we paid for.

Relaxing stay at Siena Village. If you want to relax in a peaceful place with just the sounds of birds chirping and mild wind noise with a mesmerizing view from ur room and also have kids engaged in a small but well maintained park, this is the place to spend few days. Extended a nights stay which I seldom do. Room that we booked was very clean and well maintained and had all necessary things working fine. Hot water flow was instant which is highly needed in a cold climate like munnar. Staff hospitality was top notch with smiling and greeting all the time they pass you. Food menu had quite lot of options and taste was was excellent. No complaints. If the guest count is more, they arrange buffet for lunch and dinner too and breakfast being complimentary. You can choose ala carte as well for lunch or dinner. If you want to detox yourself from city life and have a pleasant relaxing stay with a great view from your room balcony or sit out - then this is the place to stay. Had sufficient car parking space. It is a steep climb to reach the reception and parking space - stay in first gear when climbing. Note that this is around 20kms from munnar town which is on the Theni route. If your travel is primarily to visit site seeing spots around munnar, then I would recommend staying in munnar town. Would definitely recommend this resort for people who want to relax, have quality sleep, have good food and be close to nature.
