The Sher Garh - Resort hotel in Sawai Madhopur, Kutalpura Maliyan - Sawai Madhopur, India

We stayed there for two nights. The staff was very helpful and flexible despite our hectic schedules. The room was fine. The food was great, very much like excellent home food. One annoyance was the lack of wifi connectivity in the bedroom so having to stay in the restaurant to access the internet.

We recently stayed at this Resort and unfortunately encountered a concerning incident during visit.I feel it's essential to share my disheartening experience. During our stay, We encountered an incident wherein We felt discriminated by the Staff member, he clearly stated that they Welcome only Foreigners to their resort. It's really strange to hear such statement from an Indian. The situation left us feeling deeply upset and disappointed. This incident significantly impacted our overall perception of the hotel . Hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I encourage the management to educate their staff about the importance of treating all guests equally.

"This resort is not for Indians. They only welcome foreigners to their resort. Scarcely they open online bookings for Indians". These are the words of one of the staff members of Shergarh resort. I wish I had a recording of this conversation to ignite fire and rage amongst the Indians the way we were enraged. I profoundly pray that such racist places should be completely banned and boycotted from India. I would strictly recommend people to choose some other resort for your stay if you are considering this place. Such places where the staff has a smile on their face only while attending foreigners would only make your stay obnoxious. I am a well educated and sofisticated Indian who is very proud to be one and If my review, even for once, stops you from making a reservation at this place , so pls. Stop and choose some other resort.

The hotel was excellent, and the ambiance was great. However, the only issue was that they seemed to pay more attention to foreigners, which suggests that a mindset of favoring them may still exist.

Lovely peaceful surroundings with courteous staff. Would stay again if I was in the area. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A very nice and beautiful property. Clean and huge rooms with king size bed. Clean washrooms. Ideal for family stay. I would any day say a big YES to visit Shergarh again. Staff makes you feel at home. Could not see the big cat this time. A nice and clean swimming pool. Value for money place.

My family's experience with Sher Garh was fantastic. They were kind to accommodate us even though we booked literally last minute. The rooms are clean, big, grand! The service/staff is very good and kind, and the food was awesome too. The property is huge, with manicured lawns and the pool was also great. Mr Ajay, the property owner was very helpful, and his staff in the reception too were doing a stellar job. They ensured 'last minute' that we got a booking for the Safari! Thank you heaps. I really have no complaints or suggestions. I think they are doing great and only wish them the best.
