Incredibly cosy plase, very central with great service. I stayed here in the end of october and had a great time. The dorms were of good price, the view from the boat is great overlooking the river and the bridge. I always love being on the water! They got me a cheap delicious breakfast and organized a great tuktuk tour of all the good spots with Bilal (which i also highly recommend). When coming back from the tour there was some problem with water pressure so they got me a room in a family members hotel for the same price as the dorm! Very luxurious hotel room and as a thanks they gave me the delicious dinner buffet for only 200. I couldn't recommend this place better! I know many of the reviews here in Srinagar seem fake, be careful! But this is an actual review and you could not go wrong with this place. Thanks for a great stay! /Julius the swedish guy

I had such a wonderful time at the Flostel! I was slightly nervous about traveling to Srinagar by self as a woman alone , but Shafi and his family made me feel right at home. It's a traditional houseboat right on the river near the city center but very quiet and peaceful. He kindly helped me organize trips suited to my interests and I had an awesome time with the welcoming and funny driver, Burhan. There's so much to do in Srinagar, I wish I could have stayed longer. Shafi and his family made my experience unforgettable and I highly recommend this stay to anyone interested in Srinagar!

The best place to stay in Srinagar if you wanna stay a bit away from all the ruckus. It's at located at the bank of Jhelum river and they're over 50 years old. The exterior and interior of the boat is modeller with traditional Kashmiri architecture and very intricate wood works. The owner Shafi was very professional and met our needs were fulfilled. It's very affordable and they provide heated blankets during cold nights as well. The onboard food tastes homely and is pretty delicious. One highlight that I've to mention is Zahid bhai, the caretaker of the boat. He is the sweetest person I've met from Kashmir. He took good care of all of us, cooked us maggi and his famous delicious namkeen chai and even took me out to show some off beat experiences in and around Kashmir. The stay wouldn't be the same without this wonderful man.

Very good service with good behaviour among the hotel staffs. Good quality good also.

Really cozy, nice and comfortable houseboat. The staff is always around if you have ant questions (especially Tariq) and the boat is maintained amazingly well. Location also great, not too crowded. Plus: you don't have to take a Shikara to get on the boat (unlike at Dal lake), which I found really convenient.

Not recommended Food is good but location is very bad . Far away from Dal Lake. If you think that you are going to stay in houseboat in dal Lake then don't go for this

Had a very comfortable stay. Woke up to a breathtaking morning on the Jhelum river. The owner was very hospitable.
