A few days back I got an invitation from a place that I had previously visited around 2 years back when they were at another location & now have shifted on Durga Nursery Road. The name of the place is The Shake Maker which serves a variety of Thick shake options, cold beverages & french fries to binge on.
Their USP is shakes that are served with Spoon to eat first & as they melt one can drink them like regular shakes. They maintain their thickness for quite some time due to their secret ingredients & making methods.
The place is very cosy & can accommodate around 10 Pax at a time.
We tried their
- Browtella
- Belgian Shake
- Peri Peri Fries
- Chipotle Fries
First came Browtella, it was a blend of shake & brownie. The consistency was even with chunks of brownie in it, sweetness level was good. Then came Belgian Chocolate, consistency of this was good as i could directly drink it without scooping it first unlike the earlier one. Taste of it was balanced & good. Both fries options were made from Frozen fries & were topped with respective masala & spices. They were crisp & good.
Overall one can try their shakes if they want very thick shakes. They even have some shakes which if you do upside down they won't fall. They could introduce something to eat as well other than fries or something to go with shakes for more traction.
If we would've paid the bill would amount to INR 520.

Today I Really had a bad experience. Asked for normal water to drink the person managing the shop deined that there is no normal water need to buy from the shop. Its rellay bad from reputated shop to not provide water to customers. I can buy shake but i dont want to buy water bottle. Cause I cant drink the whole water bottle and besides I am in your shop so my main focus is on shake only. But saying no for water thats really bad. In the end I didnt wanted to leave the shake as it was too extra thick and not in good taste but i had to leave it half. So better no offence to anyone. Its the owners responsibility to provide water to their customer. And if you dont know about whats going in the shop then you should take care of it.
I WILL NEVER VISIT THE SHAKE MAKER again
I've tried shakes from 100s of places from "keventers" to "london shakes" yet nothing can beat shakemaker. It is literally the best
The place offers really nice shakes and they have a wide range of menu .. I would recommend that you should at least give this place a try
