The Serenity Resort | Wayanad - Resort hotel in Padinjarathara - Wayanad, India

Lovely property The hotel was extremely comfortable, the lake area was exquisitely designed with small benches. Rooms are extremely nice with all the required amenities with excellent room service. The food offered at their restaurant was delicious. The Serenity is highly recommended.

Overall: What was supposed to be nice stay turned out to be a nightmare with allegations of STEALING. Pros: 1. This is a very beautiful property facing the lake so makes for a nice view to wake up to wind your day. 2. My husband and I took the spa. He wasn't very happy with it but the lady who did for me seemed to do a really good job. 3. Housekeeping service was pretty decent. Well, that's it for the pros. Now cons: 1. Every single day we stayed there, we had a long waiting for a table at the restaurant. The eggs on order was below average. The food options were below average. 2. We found ants on the bed. 3. The table tops though clean was very sticky. 4. There was no space to put your suitcase except a cup board. 5. We used their tissue box with tissues because we were traveling during the day time and eating from out. We missed to keep the box back in the room. After check out, they called us and asked us to send back the tissue box. Since we had travelled away, we told them it was in the car and we'll find the next post office and we did courier it back to them too sending a screenshot of the postal details. Next, they alleged that we stole their remotes. It didn't make any sense so we asked them to check the room properly. They called again saying they found the remotes, they can't find the remote box. I lost it at this point. Thanks for ruining my birthday weekend. Never stepping foot into this place again.

Perfectly located near Banasur Dam. There's nice Lake View in front of the Resort. Rooms are clean. Food is awesome and staff is Courteous. Only 1 complaint i have is they should explicitly mention if the rooms have AC or not. we booked a room without AC, luckily weather was cool tht time, but in summers AC is a must.

Place is situated next to Banasura Dam and a lake. The lake is pretty shabby and under maintenance and water looks muddy. So all the hype around lake view etc can be forgotten while considering the place. It is quiet distant from all tourist attractions. You have to travel atleast 1-2 hours to reach them. Hotel is pretty average for the rating and stars. Definitely not worth the price. Food quality and taste was average. We had a baby with us and baby food was a struggle to get prepared by the hotel. All in all a very average holiday experience.

The resort is surrounded with greenery and water. It's very quite, calm and relaxing. Food is very good. Price is reasonable and good quantity and good quality. Rooms has no ventilation. At some point of time it starts smelling bad because of no proper ventilation.

The hotel location was perfect very near to the Banasura dam and bang opposite the lake surrounded by forest.All Rooms have a lake view balcony. Rooms are big and spacious for a family of 2 adults plus 2 kids. The food was good but it will not make North Indians very happy especially vegetarian people.The hotel staff was very courteous.We really enjoyed our stay at The Serenity Reaort.They should pay a little more attention on the vegetarian menu for breakfast and dinner.Overall a very good two days holiday for the family.On a rating scale i would give 4.50 out of 5.

We visited this place around 1st week of June and opted for lake view premium villa. The resort is good, clean and beautiful. It has good view. The room service here is amazing. Food is good just paneer options can be included. Mr Arun manages things around here and is always ready to help and keep customers satisfied. The water in lake is bit less in summer but still you get good view. But if someone is going in rainy days the view will be much more better. Overall good place, and recommended place for stay

The resort only looks good in pictures but it is not up to the mark as they display on the profile. PATHETIC EXPERIENCE Room was good. FOOD quality & taste was so bad. Whatever menu they had was so costly. They already charge a lot and on the day of checkout they ask to write good review and display some good pictures and give 20% discount on it. *Swimming pool was so so so worst unhygienic ,unclean highly chlorinated and bleached with lots of dead insect into it because of this I got rashes sever skin infection. Overall the resort was so bad. They don't even provide seal bottle of mineral water. They provide hot water Geyser but it doesn't work.
