One of the best hospitals I have come across. It's amazing to see everyone involved in your pregnancy journey positively from start till end and beyond that. Mothers have right to voice here. We are heard, seen and understood & are given only the best. My experience of giving birth was amazing. Having a c-sec from the first time I had never thought to have deliver my other baby so beautifully and naturally but with sanctum it's possible. Here it's proved that women come together can achieve anything. Just love and good vibes.

My 1st baby was born here in 2018. And now i had my twins in 2023 june. And I had both of them normal deliveries. My experience of giving birth in Sanctum is memorable. I am very thankful to Dr.Vijaya ma'am who works 24x7 to make ur birth experience beautiful which happened in my case. Through out my pregnancy, when we consult Vijaya ma'am we always feel positive vibes and confidence of having normal delivery though i was carrying twins. And we never felt it as a hospital, we always feel it like a home. Whole staff and everyone was so supportive and took good care of us as a family. We were supported in every phase of pregnancy through birthing knowledge by lamaze classes, by attending yoga classes, and by following the diet. Their idea of involving partner during labour is more comforting. My husband stood with me and supported me well through out my pregnancy journey. We will cherish this experience life time and thank you Dr.Vijaya ma'am and team for making my birthing experience beautiful.

The best decision of our pregnancy journey was choosing to birth in sanctum... To have a life changing soulful birthing experience was a dream come true for us... We are based out of Chennai.Personally we were so frustrated with the way other hospitals approached pregnancy to be some kind of a medical condition rather than making the couple feel safe and confident. Best Decision Ever: My husband and I walked into Sanctum at 30weeks, spoke to Vijaya Maam. With the Lamaze Classes with Neha and thinking of what Maam had told us, our entire perspective of birth changed. Even though I did a lot of yoga, I was putting on a lot weight, Maam helped me with diet consultation as well. We gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, unmedicated!! True to their name. Had my baby delivered in Sanctum. Though it was a gentle C-section, I had the best birthing experience with the husband right beside me amidst all surprises that the pregnancy threw on me. Vijaya mam has always been available to answer all my doubts and queries and the on-call is readily available in case of emergencies. Their support does not just stop with birth, Vijaya mam has been one of the major support in achieving my breastfeeding goals!

I consulted with Vijaya Mam in my 5th month. Her realistic approach towards pregnancy & natural birthing gave me assurance to take this path for the rest of my pregnancy journey. Had a smooth pregnancy until my 36th week and like a drop of a bomb, I was diagnosed with cholestasis of pregnancy suddenly. This came as a shock and we were on constant supervision with NST scans, Dopplers & Blood tests every 2 days and put on medication to keep the bile acid levels on check. And were advised we might have to go for early induction or C section depending on our test results. Like a miracle, by 37th week, all the results came to normal levels and I was kept on a close watch with continuous interval spaced tests and consultations. And Vijaya mam was more elated than us to wait for the labour to start naturally. By 39th week 2 days, labour started naturally after my water broke. Vijaya mam was there through out to make me do the exercises during the active labour to speeden up the descending of our baby. Her intuitive knowledge and quick actions towards my own labour was truly assuring to trust the process and surrender to her directions. And after the long labour hours, we were blessed with a baby boy. I wish many more women take up this path for a life time experience of understanding our own strength, resilience & will power.

Vbac of my twins has been the most empowering experience. I feel so honored to announce myself as the first vbac twin mom at sanctum. I came to know about sanctum after delivering my first child via c section 5 years ago and decided to opt for natural birth if at all I want to have second child. When I got pregnant the second time I went to sanctum at 8 weeks after my pregnancy test at home. Sanctum has a different vibe and I havent felt I stepped into a hospital (ofcourse it's a natural birth centre). Not just the birth but everything is so natural about this place. Met with dr hima bindu garu and I was confident that this experience will be different than my first. After nt scan we came to know that its twins and I had many doubts about full.term. birth and possibility of natural birth. I met with Dr vijaya mam at 20 weeks and she has set clear expectations during our first meeting about the probability of vbac twin natural delivery and the risks involved. I told mam that I mainly choose sanctum for good care and I want to carry my babies as long as they would like to be in my womb and it would be fine if it turns out to be a c section. I know many places where especially twin moms are taken for c section on completion of 36 weeks and I wasn't up for that. With full trust on vijaya mam and team I have followed the diet charts, in person yoga and attended lamaze classes. We ticked off one milestone after the other like completing 36 weeks, babies in head down position and on each visit vijaya mam was as happy as I am on achieving these. She is full of positive vibes. At 37 weeks on 06sep 2 am my contractions started. I called the on-call number and spoke with vijaya mam. Upon checking mam mentioned that fever might have induced the contractions so the team worked on reducing my temp . 07sep vijaya mam came to check and the contractions were 5 to 10 mins apart during night and spaced out in the morning. 4 cms dilation 08sep i was induced naturally. the contractions were intense and 3 mins apart and 1 min long. I was exhausted and couldn't take it any longer at this point and felt like giving up and asked for c section. Vijaya mam sat beside me and reminded me of how far I have come and encouraged me to wait until next morning and she was so.hopeful that I am going to deliver the baby by morning. She also said she will stay with me if that makes me be at ease and gives me strength and told me she would ask a nurse to be completely with me and help me with pain relief by hot compress and other ways. She said I'm doing great and with the trust I have in her and my body I decided to wait. The contractions continued and nurses helped me into water tub around 2.30 am and by 5 am I was having the urge to push. Nurses and vijaya mam helped me with squats, toilet seat position and other positions and vijaya mam patiently waited and encouraged me to do my best during each contraction. Not even once I felt pressured or forced to push. I delivered TWIN A at 8.07 am and twin b at 8.40 am. I have never met a person as passionate as vijaya mam. I was able to follow whatever mam said during my pregnancy and labour only because I trust her so deeply and she has earned that trust.
