The Saad Hotel - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Hi, I checked out today. The Hotel was good in terms of location but there were some issues which I would like to point out. 1. The receptionist/manager Mr. Sandan(I'm not sure about the correct name) was horrible. He can single handedly destroy the business. 2. When I took MAP plan I was expecting some basic courtesy as there are 3 people so atleast 3 plates would be given. On the first day we received it but after the managers intervention he was interested in somehow cutting down the food. I too do not want to waste food but that does not mean that one of the members is not eating. 3. The dinner was not ready even after prior information. Again we had to order and waited for another one hour after our arrival. 4. Yesterday was the peak. Our room key (which we gave at reception) was not available when we came back. We had to wait while the staff was searching in vain. Finally, some other room person is bringing our key and giving it your manager in the presence of us. What about our room security and privacy. Overall, horrible service. Couple of times I tried to talk to the receptionist but he is not even giving eye contact. Please train him on interpersonal relationships and do improve the internal communication and room service management

Rooms are clean, staff is good, also location wise it's okay, because police bazar or isbt is not that close.

We recently visited this fantastic hotel. It is an extremely nice hotel in all respect. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff behaviour is very good. Foods are also delicious. I will highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel during their Shillong Trip.

I have recently visited the hotel with my family. It is one of best hotels I stayed till date. Their services were absolutely up to the mark. All the staffs are very co-operative, polite and helpful. Rooms and washrooms are very clean and decorated. Each room is cleaned everyday. We had breakfast and dinner there. Foods were also tasty. They serve lot of dishes.

We stayed there for one night during our seven day trip to Meghalaya. The rooms were clean but there was no hot water supply in our room and there was no one available at the reception till 6.30 am in the morning. We had to leave early. Some problem with the lift door also, sometimes it didn't open. It happened with us and then one person from reception came with a key to open the door from outside. Overall it's a good hotel if these some anomalies can be taken care of.

Thank you for making our stay at your hotel a memorable one. There's no way I would forget the warmth and kindness you offered my family and me. You made us feel at home. Hotel was clean, having good ambience, location. the breakfast served was good and fresh. the manager & Receptionist we humble &helpful the hotel staff was friendly & took good care of us.

Hotel was nice as per rooms structure but with below - we booked executive rooms but was not worthy. 1. Cleaniness was good but one of the quilt was provided dirty in executive rooms, otherwise rooms were cleaned properly. 2. there were no shower gel and body wash provided as they mentioned its out of stock and cannot be refilled . 3. Executive rooms are near the main road so very noisy but on request they changed our room to deluxe for sleeping overnight which o belive was kind gesture . 4. Breakfast was limited options but nice .
