The Riverview Retreat, Corbett - Resort hotel in Ramnagar, Mailani Range - Nainital, India

Excellent it's just the word made for them. Everything about this property is brilliant from staff to service to engagements and the food they offer. Be ready to be blown away with their services and engagements they plan for all the guests. River on the side adds another highlight.

Awesome experience. Loved everything. Food, cottage, drinks, staff, river-facing deck and open spaces. Keep missing the gym in our long stays. Let's hope that gets sorted out soon too.

Had a wonderful stay at River view Corbett ! Beautiful riverside location , breathtaking view of mountains and the river made my day , property was clean and well maintained, rooms were clean , services were good, Food was very good , special efforts were made by the hotel staff and the chef to prepare non spicy food for my son , I would love to visit again , the mountain trip was amazing , special mention to our guide Mr Bhupendra ! He was an amazing person with perfect eyes for spotting animals and great knowledge The only turn off was we were unaware of the fact that the jungle safari has to be booked in advance and the hotel should make an effort to inform their customers while booking, we missed the safari though But in all the rest other things the riverside bar and dinner , the live singing by Mr Krishna , the tea everything covered up Will love to visit again l

Had a good stay with homely feeling at the property. Food was delicious with variety. Their High tea is special and not to be missed. Staff was very generous and Interactive. Property has great river view with sufficient deck space to enjoy same. We stayed in superior room which had better space than cottage room. Washroom size was big. A lot of trees which give it a stunning view.

We have visited Riverview Retreat recently in month of Sep 2023 and booked as property has access to river however our experience was not so smooth as there is some group of 75 people arrived at property and hotel is not able to manage other guests like poor food management , poor housekeeping and anyone can go to pool in any dress, whatever you order it is taking very long time and taste is not good too like they don't know how to bake pizza base and it was hard biscuit base. Next day when we called housekeeping so we need to call 4-5 times but no one arrived... At the end for last 2 days out of 4, when we had word with operations team and GM then things got little better but still you can't call GM for every little issue and waiters and staff seems irritated and no smile on face except few people who are leading them. My humble request to property don't take booking if your staff can't manage them as you had spoiled others precious time.

property is in the vicinity of KOSI RIVER, which is the biggest catch of being in here. Two types of accommodation are here, cottages ,for big size family and rooms for small family 3 to 4. Rooms are spacious, hygienic and attached with a big balcony ,common for all 6 rooms on that floor. Staff is very professional,polite and helpful. Room service top class. amongst the few weak links, is , WASHROOM, not that big, also not very clean. Apart from it breakfast also lacks good variety for North Indians, though quality is good. Pool side assistance also lacks professionalism and gets carried away by groups having many people, who behave as if the entire pool belongs to them and are least worried about others. Overall one time stay.

Awesome experience The riverview retreat is one of the best resorts in Ramnagar. The location is great, just beside the main road and beside the river. The inside of the resort is stunningly beautiful, absolutely well maintained. Food was excellent. The rooms were very good. The staff were very polite. The overall experience was great.

Riverview Retreat Resort is probably the best resort I have ever stayed in India. The resort has everything - great location, great rooms/cottages, super courteous and efficient staff, excellent food in breakfast and dinner buffet, a "Hi-Tea" with snacks like pakoras and tawa-toasted sweet buns - I can keep writing and writing about all the great things. My wife had a Savaan fast on Monday, and they arranged some fruits, etc. in dinner for her. The resort is full of trees and vegetation. In this season, mango trees were laden with fruit. We even savoured some which dropped on their own after ripening. Kosi river flows by the resort and you can enjoy watching it from a special deck they have. The only 2 areas of minor improvement I would suggest are: 1. Increase the lighting on the walkways. 2. Put handrails to enter/exit the swimming pool. The resort will be my choice whenever I am in Ramnagar next.
