The Riverside Lodge - Hotel in Guwahati - Lower Assam, India

The rooms are very basic in comparison to what's charged, but the place is quiet if you are looking for some seclusion. No disturbances. I am rating it 4 star as the staff was quite responsive and the food was prepared with extreme sincerity and in good portions, though we paid additional charges for it.

Chose on Booking.com, but room not as nice as projected on the portal. However, host was kind and served well. The lodge needs major upkeep to attract re-visits by users. Location is awesome with lush green and river Brahmaputra acting as rejuvenating factors around this lodge.

Overall experience was superb. Property is managed by caretaker. Staff were well mannered. There is dining facility and it is good. Room amenities were upto the mark and it was clean. Location is superb as it is close to tourist spots. There is no WiFi.

Those who love nature it is the best place for the It is a huge bungalow with all fecilities. Great view of Brahmaputra and a lovely garden super deluxe room has the best view. Dimple is very helpful and very supportive I want to stay there again

Stayed in the room with Brahmaputra view, and balcony it was quite spacious and fairly well maintained, as it is a home stay you get access to the living room and terrace as well which my 8 year old boy really liked as he had a lot of space to move around, I will surely consider coming back to this home stay if I get the same room in the future

The location is nice. The facilities need an upgrade with the shower not fully functional. Also some of the facilities such as a balcony are misleading as there's no private balcony, only a shared one. Overall it would be a nice place to stay if the prices were slightly lower.

The description and pictures are misleading. Location is good but the place is not maintained at all.Payment had to be done beforehand online and there was no refund.To me, it looked like an abandoned house. We had to look for another hotel after such a long journey!

This place is located in the ramchai hill area, near don bosco institute. Its a three bedroom bungalow located in one of the most posh localities of guwahati. Getting there is easy. Bungalow can be booked from airbnb. The place itself is very well maintained by the local caretaker dimple. He caters to your every need. The rooms are well furnished and airconditioned . One of the rooms is pretty big. Shhets were clean. The bathroom spick and span. No problems at all.
