Rooms are spotlessly clean. an Extremely gracious Service. Staff are Cordial and informative. Food is of topnotch Quality. Safari in Jeep was enthralling and the guide explained thoroughly and the boat safari crew were cordial and informative... Extremely satisfied with the experience. The backwaters of the Bhadra provide a stunning backdrop. The tiger reserve is thick and evergreen. Although we could not see tigers, we did sight leopard, elephants and herds of deer.

There is only one issue which I want to get out of the way. The restaurant is a fair bit of walk from most rooms and for older people it can be a bother though they do serve food for them in the rooms. Apart from this place there is everything to recommend here. Rooms and the views are amazing, safaris are long but well organized - both jeep and boat. The food specially non veg is outstanding. The per nigh charges seem high but once you factor in the food and the safaris it all seems well worth it. Not to be missed for animal and nature lovers.

Worth every penny we spent for a night stay package. Its all inclusive . Infact felt a day extra would have been better. The boat safari, jungle safari the spacious cottage room with water front view,and meals and snacks were more than one can eat literally .

awesome place for a vacation in nature. they organise wildlife safari, boat ride in the lake as part of the package (both are really enjoyable). Rooms are good with a nice balcony overlooking the lake. Food served was really good, much better than most of the other resorts. highly recommend this place

Very very scenic place. Had a very nice stay. From check-in to check-out, totally planned itinerary with... jungle safari...boat safari...and water sports all inclusive. Food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I just loved this place. I found the location and setting quite different from other JLR lodges. My room has a fantastic view. The staff is friendly and the food good. Arguably one of the best JLR stay from the ones I have been to. Please note that one has to walk (and climb) a great deal to reach one's room.

The place is very picturesque. But the maintenance of the property is not satisfactory. May visit during monsoon for experience but be prepared to share your rooms with creepy crawlies. And withstanding the wild weather is not very easy for those who are not acquainted with this kind of weather. Definitely shouldn't try massage here and end up worsening your pains. Can enjoy the place better during non-monsoon times. Have to walk miles to the dining area to find your food.

Some salient features: - There is a 2 hour water and forest safari which is an icing on the cake. The guides taking you on the safari are very patient and want to make sure you enjoy - The food has a distinct variety that does not repeat - a fusion of malnad cuisine with rest of the south - Every room has a balcony with a heavenly view to the Bhadra reservoir Tip: try to be there during full moon days. The view from the room is heavenly - unmatched. If you have the budget, do not think twice. Just visit this place and it will not disappoint you.
