Had a wonderful weekend at the Rippling cottage along with my dog. It sits on the Ulhas river and it's nice to sit outside hearing the rush of the water. Nice manicured lawns make a good outdoor. Waking up to songs of birds is beautiful. They have 2 wonderful dogs, Zulu and Betsy. My dog quickly made friends with them. The team is very good and takes care of the guests. The rooms are clean. The food good. Mr. Vipan, the owner is a good conversationalist. Spent a lot of time with him. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Everything was good. A suggestion they need to have some staff added for more cleaning of the rooms. During rains there is dampness in the rooms which need to be taken care of. Food wise some more variety and taste. It's an open friendly place. But some bit of organizing wouldn't hurt. It will add a plus to the ambience.

Recently me and my friends, a group of 8 bachelor's had been to this property for a two night weekend stay. I would divide my observations in goods and bads in my review. The "Goods"- 1. It's location is far from the city hustle bustle. It's quiet and a well maintained property with lots of plantation and greenery of the Konkan belt around. 2. The design and layout of the cottage. It's old styled, rustic and cozy interiors, plus the mezzanine internal floor makes it look vintage. The linen, bedding was clean. In one cottage/ bungalow 8 people can comfortably be accomodated. However there's only one toilet per cottage and a common wash room which is shared with the kitchen section. 3. The water body with flowing water just behind the property which is gated gives a good overall ambience. The arrangement for sitting outside attached to the rooms of the cottage close to the water body gives a good experience. However, the water was very less when we visited. So we didn't enter it for bathing. The sound of the flowing water was a delight. 4. The kitchen offered average dining experience, the veg food we had was mediocre and there were no complains from the non vegetarian members of the group. We are typical Tea connoisseurs and after complaining about the tea quality it was made palatable. 5. The parking is sufficient and vehicles remain safe inside the property. 6. The scenery of mountains around offers a picturesque view and you can't resist taking a walk with your friends outside the property along the thin road. Caution- There's only a single narrow stretch of road leading to the property and one needs to be mindful of the vehicles coming. 7. Last but not the least, The owner of the property and its staff. The owner Mr. Bipin is very polite and a humble man. He is always there looking after the property. He is reachable to address any concerns. Staff is courteous and polite, doing their job sincerely. The "Bads"- 1. I wouldn't have mentioned any cons in my review, since it was a decent property, but I am compelled to mention it since we had difficulty sleeping at night. During our stay we had a tough time sleeping. The second night of our stay, we all were almost sleepless since the power-cuts and no backup at night left us sweating with mosquitoes sucking the blood out of us. It was 4am and without any fans and ventilation, we were left at the mercy of mosquitoes and that was a terrible experience since we were feeling tired before our journey back home. 2. The rooms and toilets could have been cleaner with room fresheners or pleasant aroma. 3. A tastier meal will draw more people to the property. The food wasn't bad either but definitely needs improvement. Overall a good property but a little room for improvement with protection against mosquitoes and power back up in check.

Rustic construction based in abundance beauty of nature across flowing water from Tata hydal project. Delicious homade food made in front of you as the kitchen is open. The owner and all staff are soft spoken and take good care of your comfortable stay. If you are looking for pet friendly location, this is good place to visit. Just be aware of the other dogs in and around. Also, take care of your pet after you visit the place as your pet may get ticks from the open lawn.

A quaint tranquil farm stay by a river. It's a pet friendly and perfect place for a family holiday. We stayed at the bungalow just by the river and waking up to nature was the best feeling ever. The owner Vipan uncle was absolutely lovely, warm and made our stay very comfortable. The staff was amazing, served us sumptuous meals and always smiled. The place was clean, beautiful and the weather was amazing at night. We went swimming in the river with our dog, played volley ball and badminton, read a book and lazed around a lot. It was a perfect getaway.

An absolutely beautiful property. Very humble owners. The couple made sure we were comfortable. Personalised attention was given. Their entire team of staff members is very good. We were with infants, kids and dogs and none of them was left ignored. we were allowed to use the kitchen for tea , kids & dog food preparations Which was a great help. People who travel to different places and sometimes some across money minded hosts can clearly make out the difference when they visit this place. Food was good and in very good quantity. Overall a Safe clean and beautiful property. Generous owners and kind staff. With Canal flowing near the property has strong currents so one has to be be extra careful with pets and kids. But water can still be enjoyed. delightful experience. Would love to visit again. Entire properly is almost at one level so my old dog was very comfortable.

It's a nice place for 1- day visit! Big property, pets are allowed(Extra charge), local food for breakfast lunch and dinner (extra charge) and the river is just down the stairs, which makes for a very good and relaxed stay. Just wish that the rooms were more pleasant. :))

Plus points: Pet friendly, with a large dog that's a must. Right next to flowing waters, let-off from hydro-electric plant above. Lots of greenery So-so: Food is plentiful, some tasty items too although the range is limited. Minus points: Cottages are not summer-friendly. Fan is inadequate, AC can't really cool due to open plan. Frequent power fluctuations negate any cooling. It might suit cooler times
