Nice place to walk and have some quality time, but the things available there will be overpriced and the cameramen ready to take your photos who will try to lure you for photos in my personal opinion its better to avoid them as in our case our photo prints were really bad and it felt like the money got wasted in the name of memories, the view from the ridge is amazing as you can see the huge mountain range and the beautiful christ church hence a must visit for your shimla must visit places.

This place is called the heart of shimla to cater large gatherings located above the mall road of shimla. The vibe and views from this place are incomparable and amazing such that you can hangout for over hours and won't feel bored, there is a famous christ church near it which is one of the identity of shimla and also the famouse jakhoo temple at some distance.

I visited the Ridge, Shimla in April during summer visit, I was able to see the vibrant night lights and the panoramic view of the city from the Ridge was simply stunning. I highly recommend visiting the Ridge and experiencing the beauty of the city. You can get some eatables in there and make sure there are monkeys around who can snatch eatables from your hand so make sure you eat by looking around or you can also pack it and keep it inside the bag.
Beautiful architecture and local markets enhance the beauty of place. You should prefer to visit this place in evening as the lighting system is beyond words. The roof of splash bar is the place where everyone in their childhood must have slide at least once.
