The Restaurant - Trident Bhubaneswar - Restaurant in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

Someone recommended me this restaurant, so, I tried it. Portions aren't too big, so, expensive if we take into account this. The staff was really kind and nice, but it take too long to receive the orden in the table. I suppose there were a lot of clients or not too much staff inside the kitchen. By the other hand, the restaurant is so elegant, nice, quiet. I really liked it. About the quality of the food, as foreigner, I have to say nothing was spicy, so to me was perfect. Everything taste so good. I am not pretty sure if I will come back because of the slowly service from the kitchen. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, in the first floor.

The location is perfect for someone who has work in Chandrashekarpur or Patia. Actually there's a fantastic road that connects the airport with the hotel. The check-in was smooth and hassle free. In fact the concierge spotted me taking stuff out of my car in the parking lot and rushed to help me. The staff are all uniformly polite and helpful. The room was perfect in every way. Spotless, well appointed, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the extensive garden. The bathroom was again hygienic and clean. The drain on the shower area could drain a little faster though! The mattress and pillows were perfect! There was an extensive spread for the complimentary buffet breakfast. Juices, breads, fruits, cold cuts, parathas, idlis, upma / poha, they were all there. One advise. Anything that is ordered like omelettes or dosa take forever. Stick to what's already on display! The garden has a kilometer long jogging / walking track. Absolutely amazing for morning walks! I had a perfect stay. Waiting to visit Trident Bhubaneswar again!

Fantastic one, well served, but will be high priced

It was a very nice stay at Trident. Morning walk track through the greenery is the most beautiful part of my stay. Staff are good. Breakfast is good scrambled egg and any dosa is must order thing. Suggestion: Keep a separate game room

It was my mom's birthday so I wanted to make it very special.on that special occasion I went to trident along with my mom. hospitality and ambiance was really awesome .it was for the first time I visited a 5star hotel.i ordered a cake,which was a fresh fruit cake the taste and the look of the cake was really delicious.now coming to the the main course part, I ordered 1 Veg Odia Thali, Nonveg Kebab Platter,Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani.the veg thali contained rice,Dalma, baigan Bharta, Tomato Chutney, Lau Santula, Chhena Poda,Chhatu Besar,Roti, Aloo tikki each and every dish having very less oil and less spicy in taste and also every dish mentioned with it's proper Kcal which is good for health conscious people. Kebab Platter contained lamb Kebab,Prawn,Chicken,Fish,Naan and dal makhni.the lamb and prawn Kebab was not that good at taste and I guess it was a frozen thing which they processed to serve us.fish was taste less.chicken Kebab was really good with smoky flavor.and Lastly the Biriyani was average and the masalas were very much dominating.chicken pieces were very dry or frozen type and it was not very sooth to chew.as per the standards prices are a bit high for mediocre family.overall experience was good and 1 time go place to experience the luxury.

The restaurant has gorgeous interiors and the service staff is very polite and well trained. Although our ordered food didn't arrive together, we didn't mind that much as they were not too far apart. Their bar menu was limited. I was hoping to try some rare whiskey which one would not normally find in more economical restaurants. We ordered Roghan Josh with Nan and it was fantastic. Our other orders, lamb lasagna and chicken pasta were , unfortunately, not that exciting.

Trident is only 5 star hotel in Bhubaneswar. Place is amazing if you want to spend quite time with friends and family. The ambiance is very good. I particularly loved the interior at the lobby as it reflects Odia architecture and culture. Restaurant is on the 1st floor. Again ambiance is great. Staff is friendly and cordial. I had a Odia nonveg thali . My friends had a mutton biryani and pasta in white sauce. We also had a butter garlic prawns and ceaser salad. Mutton biryani was by far the best I ever had . Odia thali was equally good (must try for all Non Odia people visiting Bhubaneswar/ Odisha) .

Well maintained and very courteous staff... they pamper you so much that you get addicted to it and never want to leave the place. Hotel ambiance is astounding ... food doesn't hit the spot...for some dishes at least.. overall.. the best hotel to stay and experience...
