This is a restaurant located inside Hotel Shakti Continental. Most of the guests here are the ones staying in the hotel. The interiors are eye grabbing. They offer both buffet and a la carte options. Buffet has an elaborate menu for the price charged. However, almost every item tasted average. Service was a bit slow too. The hotel has a parking in the basement. They accept upi payment methods too. To sum it up, a disappointing experience.
It was a horrible experience. Service is pathetic and poor than a road side hotel. To provide a mineral water bottle they were told at least 10 times and to serve ice cream they took 30 mins to provide a scoop of ice ream. Complete waste of money. The taste and quality of food is also not upto the mark.
We ordered tangdi kabab and virgin mojito. Kebab was served cold after waiting around 30-40mins and it's taste was like OK type. Mojito was like sugar syrup topped with crushed ice. Seriously I expected a lot better from this kind of place. Disappointed .
The food is average. I say average because of the price you pay. It's not value for money. The buffet is not great. Specially, mutton is worst. Never try mutton from their buffet. Ambience is nice, staffs are reasonable. Location is in the heart of Angul town ( on NH side). My personal favorites are- fish tikka, Tom yum soup with prawns, chicken tangiri kebab, fish curry Bengali style.
Decent ambience. A bit busy on weekends. Food is of mediocre taste but sweet dishes are well made and combined. Tandoori counter serves delicious meat. Overall 3/5.

The momos were good moreover the staffs are honest. I paid my bill through phone pe and the payment was pending so i handed over cash. Later when I informed them the phone pe payment was also done, they checked and returned me the money.

One of the best chicken and mutton biryani I ever came across. My friends have tried paneer Punjabi and kadak laccha paratha which is a signature dish. The staff is very humble and co-operative. Must try in Angul!!
Nice cozy place with excellent interiors, fantastic food & professional staffs & a great owner. Good range of menu. Went with family & personally liked the Chinese dishes which we tried. Ample parking is available. Would love to visit again.
