Best places to see wildlife closely. Assuring the best experience in any season you go except Monsoon. Its worth for outing a watching animals roaming freely in jungle.
Horrible experience! My ticket was not even booked on the day of the safari. I was told to wait at Hotel but last moment was asked to Rush to the Main spot from where Safari begins. When i reached there, i was told there was no ticket reserved for me. I had to make multiple calls, run around with a driver for 2 hours only to realize that day was wasted. The agent (Shoaeb) later booked me same time for next day which went fine. These agents charge more than twice the actual fare and give you poor service. You can book directly from gov site.
Ranthambore fort and visiting century so amazing experience Ranthambore National park
It was nice experience. I have booked the Safari with the help of Mr. Hansraj from ranthambore national park and he made sure that my family had best time. He provided the right suggestions for which zone we should book to have max chances to see the tiger, ensure the timely pickup and drop from hotel and the best part my family did see the tiger. Thank you so much for making this experience memorable.
Amazing national park. The jungle is ever inviting. Few pointers to enjoy it more: 1. Try to target Zone 3. It's the prettiest part of the forest even in case there is no sighting. 2. Canter and jeep safari actually go to the same places all over the jungle in all the zones. So please don't stress in case you don't get a jeep safari (they are more expensive and limited slot availability). 3. Try for morning safari only, has a higher probability of sighting. 4. Time permitting and having own vehicle, take as many trips to and fro the fort and Ganesha temple road (free entry) has a high probability of sighting #sultana. 5. Half day jeep safari is a total waste of your hard earned money in case you are only targeting seeing the tiger - you can enter the core area only and only during the regular safari trimmings only. Rest of the time you go in non core I.e. zone 6 to 10. 6. Private online safari booking sights are very helpful and trusted - no fraudulent transaction. Go on there and enjoy the jungle !
Visit to Ranthambore National park was thoroughly enjoyable and exciting. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. We did safaris for two days and both days we saw tigers. On the whole we saw five tigers. Also the Alligator safari in the Chambal river was worth visiting. We saw many alligators and crocodiles so near to our boat. On the whole we had a lovely holiday which will be in our memories all our life.
Ranthambore national park is situated in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. It is one of the best maintained jungles in India. Ample upportunity to see a variety of wildlife , specially the Tiger...I have been lucky enough to spot the tiger on all of my three trips to Ranthambore in the last 10 years. An early safari booking is highly recommended. November to February is one of the best seasons to visit the park as it is quite cold. The hot months are too hot but also they say that it increases the chances of tiger sightings near water holes. I have been there twice in summers and once in winter and spotted the majestic animal all the times. It's a matter of Luck.. There is a great choice of hotels in Ranthambore to suit all budgets. Overall a great wildlife destination in India
Ranthambore National Park is located about 13.5 kilometers from the city of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Located at the junction of the Aravali and Vindhya hill ranges, this is one of the finest places to view wild animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here. The park covers an area of approximately 400 sq km, and if combined with the area of Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary area, is around 500 sq km. Ranthambore National Park is dotted with structures that remind you of bygone eras. There are numerous water bodies scattered all across the park, which provide perfect relief to the wild animals during the scorching hot days in summers. A huge fort, after which the park is named, towers over the park atop a hill. There are many ruins of bygone eras scattered all over the jungle, which give it a unique, wonderful and mixed flavour of nature, history and wildlife. Tigers at Ranthambore National park have been known to even hunt in full view of human visitors.
