We had a wonderful time at Rani Mahal! Staff was very attentive and friendly. We attended the cookery course, which was held in English, took over two hours, and was super fun! We learnt a variety of new dishes from the experienced team and enjoyed them on the roof terrace with a stunning view of the Jodhpur Fort. Fully recommended for a stay in the blue city!
Absolutely fabulous stay. The hotel is amazing and full of character being a near 500 year old building. The food and the staff were amazing and the owners were an absolute delight. Definitely worth a stay if you're in Jodhpur.
Bit late to post review but better late than never. Visited this hotel last year during our rajasthan trip. We could not stay here as rooms were not available but great we could enjoy dinner here. This place is really amazing. The interior, Ambience is undoubtedly great. It's a mixture of ancient and modern interior. We had dinner and it was delicious.The rooftop restaurant is also great with view. They have good variety of different cuisines. The owner of this hotel is really nice, Very friendly and helpful.Only suggestion to keep separate staff for ground floor restaurant and rooftop restaurant as we had to wait for food a bit longer, Thankfully it was worth the wait. Otherwise everything is perfect. Overall enjoyed time spent here. Surely recommend to visit this hotel.
It is the most beautiful place in jodhpur. It represent rajasthan style. How actually rajasthan food is. n there service is also better. pls dont go without money the beave very bad
Really pretty hotel. Clean and good rooms. Decent breakfast buffet. The only con i would say is the location. It's very close to meharangarh fort but not to many other places. If you're not up for walking a lot then you'll have to take an auto for everywhere. And they charge a bomb. Also, cabs don't go to the hotel. There are very narrow roads so only an auto can fit it. Other than that the stay was very comfortable and the staff is amazing.
Will recommend stay at this place for its location. You will have to take a rickshaw once you are near to this place to reach the reception as it is located right in the Old city - adjacent to the Blue City which is the main attraction of Jodhpur. Got to know from the owner herself that this hotel was once part of the Mehernagar fort which is walking distance from here. We could also see the fort in moonlight from the rooftop restaurant of the hotel. Rooms are done in the authentic palatial decor which gives you the feel of an actual Rani Mahal. Stay was comfortable and pleasant. Service is nice. Restaurant is vegetarian only but they allow liquor bought from outside.
Located in Nav chowkiya on one side of the fort. This sunset point is easily trekable at a distance of 1.5 kms or 15 mins from this place . This is a pure veg restaurant on roof top as well as downstairs. Rooms are uniquely designed for a heritage experience. Good view of fort from roop top restaurant. They serve beer on request
We had a fabulous stay here. The owner Nisha is lovely and was incredibly helpful recommending and organising sightseeing tours for us. The heritage building is beautiful with spectacular views of the fort. You do need to get a tuk tuk to get there as it's in the old city and a car can't get up the street but it's well worth it. We had some issues with the water pressure being an old building but the staff were very helpful and it worked out fine. Would highly recommend staying here!
