We had a great experience here. rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was very supportive and helpful specially manager Mr Hemant. He even helped with local sight seeing and travelling suggestions.
For restaurant, The view is amazing. Food was okay but Mr. Chhatrasingh provided with the best service. We are very pleased with him.
Location ambience hospitality were super good with tasty breakfast lunch and dinner options in fact hotel has all the qualities which one family looks for I highly recommend this place one must visit as name suggests rooftop the view of lake pichola is awesome with very nice night view. Ramvilas is the best stay option If you're looking for a budget stay with a good view, luxurious rooms, rooftop cafe and restaurant, good location and good food. Loved the rich traditional ambience of the hotel. They have their own handicraft showroom. Live music on weekends. The view at night from the rooftop is too good. Special mention to Mr. Jayesh for being quite helpful.
Our experience at the Hotel The Ramvilas was pathetic. Rooms weren't great as shown in the pictures. The hotel rooms didn't have Lake view as it was a little far from the lake.
Further, the roof top restaurant also didn't have a perfect lake view. The staffs weren't quiet friendly. Food was expensive and less tasty. Breakfast had limited options. Finally, guest aren't allowed to click their DSLR cameras in the roof top restaurant, this was very much annoying. I will never recommend this hotel to any of my friends, relatives or colleagues. I won't give more than 1.5 stars to this hotel.
We stayed for 3 days. It was peak time in udaipur but still we got excellent service... value for money... and for all extra requirement on call quick assistance from Mr. Hemantji (Manager) and team. Even they guide for udaipur visit (itinerary).
Rooms are spacious, cleanliness and hygiene were maintained very well safety is taken care...
