The Port Hotel - Hotel in Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatanam, India

Booked three rooms and stayed in the hotel on 2-3 Oct'23. Breakfast was very good. Room services were not good as expected. One of the room has problem with bed. None of the room has a bucket in bathroom. Due to construction/plaster/painting, dust and paint smell were in air and difficult to breathe. Lift was old model, once we stucked in that lift and we called to reception. They do not respond quickly. 4 children were with us in the lift. We are worried inside the lift but they were all relax as nothing happened. Bad experience need improvement in service.

I went for an official trip. The rooms were affordable with tarrif from 2800 onwards( tax excluded). One can get corporate discount with complementary breakfast. Rooms are okay with queen size bed, television with local cable network. Bathroom is small and is not at the entrance of room. Whole of the hotel has central AC. Food is tasty. Also has fulka and chapati options. Breakfast is typical south Indian with additional fruits, juices and some north Indian option.

Good menu. Excellent food. Food is consistent quality. Decent interiors . Decently priced. Popular for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Variety and quality of Indian breads are good. Short eats are decent. Portions are adequately good. Methi Chaman is a must try disk. Their signature disk vegetarian and chicken cigars are unique in their presentation.

The receptionist was not at all cooperative. We were arriving early so i asked about early checkin and price on phone. They informed me early checkin is there and room will cost Rs3200. But when i searched online i found discounted price. I checked with them on phone that and they asked me to book online but forgot to mention early checkin is only free if we DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. Although Agoda clearly mentions 24 hours checkin. When we reached hotel our checkin process became very chaotic. They charged us extra for early checkin. And they kept on saying we are not responsible for whats shown on agoda, you talk to agoda. We will definitely talk to agoda about this confusion but the way receptionist was talking to us was not the right.

Decent place for accommodation during your business trips. They had limited options for the breakfast buffet but it was all fresh and served hot. On request, they prepared Uttapam and hot puris for breakfast.

Food quality very good whenever I go to this restaurant enjoy food alot there services is very good Staff behaviour also good in breakfast i prefer bada and Puri sabji Specially i m going to every Sunday for breakfast Food quality Cleaning If you go more than 16 people you ask for special food lounge

Excellent food and decor matches with the name. Only issue is the oarking space fir vehicles as it needs to be parked on the road which is very busy and so finding a parking is difficult.

The review is regarding the restaurant and its spread into two parts 1. Online Order First we ordered through Swiggy , After hearing about the food from couple of people . The food taste is great , potion size is optimal and price is reasonable . Must trys are ( based on our orders ) 1. Veg Pulao ( its exceptional ) . Combine it with a curry for better experience 2. Paneer & Chicken Butter Masala 2. Dine In We went for dine -in due to a heavy rush at daspalla and we are glad we did that . A. Ambience : The place is arranged well but space is comparatively small that makes it feel little populated and noisy . Though the continous play of songs and nice interiors make it feel comfortable . B. Food : Food is excpetional . From the soup to starters to lemon soda , whatever we ordered was good . The PBM stands out and to our surprise it was way better that what we got through online order ( i guess they make differently for online orders and dine in ) . The cost is reasonable for all expect for the lemon soda that around Rs 120 , which felt unnecessarily overpriced . Recommendations : A must visit place to taste good food . The taste is different and detour from most of the vizag's restaurants.
