The Phoenix Residency - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Mr Milan and staff were courteous and very helpful. We were able to keep our luggage at the check in counter and leave early for work and when back our luggage was safely kept in our room. Dinner was also excellent and prepared as per our instructions as we had a diabetic person with us. We visit Shillong regularly and will definitely stay and dine here again. Would highly recommend this place for our friends and family too.

Its a good quiet hotel away from Police Bazaar. Room was clean, spacious with big window and all necessary amenities. Just room heater was not available, room service said all heaters are undergoing repair. Bathroom has hot water available as well. Food is good, but room service charge is extra.

Very good place with spacious and well ventilated rooms. The staff behavior is also very friendly and everyone is courteous. They arranged an early check-in for us too. The hotel has an in-house restaurant, the food served is delicious and they have a variety of cuisines available starting from Indian to Chinese to continental. Totally recommended!

Excellent hotel, excellent location, lovely surroundings, and excellent personnel. The hotel was wonderful in every way. It had great services and was spotless, fashionable, and spacious. Both the food and the accommodations were excellent. The employees were incredibly cordial and helpful. Special appreciation to sir Milan and the team. I hope to return sometime for a longer stay.

Booked 4 rooms for a family vacation trip, the rooms were average but disappointed with the hotel management staff because of their ill behaviour , they cheated the customers very badly. Each room cost Rs4800 which were booked through make my trip . During check-in it was informed by the hotel management that the breakfast would be complimentary, next day during check out they raised a bill of Rs3,600 for breakfast . When we asked why then their staff ensured us that they were only there for business and that it didn't matter what we think because we didn't inquire about it even though they told us that it was complimentary. My cordial advice is that if this kind of staff is hired than such a beautiful place like Shillong will leave a bad memory .

Hotel is situated next to the st Xavier school. On a weekday the locality is a bit crowded and expect heavy traffic in and out of the hotel. The rooms are spacious but hotel is adjacent to other buildings the exterior view is not great. Service is good and we had complementary breakfast. Breakfast spread is all veg but egg is available on request. Overall good experience with family and kids.

Not very trained staff.... Not more than 2000 rs they deserve..... Not a professional place to stay.. very much overpriced.... For everything you ask additional they have excuse... 4200 rs was a total waste at this hotel..... Pls do not go by the pictures.... Rooms are not spacious enough for over 4000 rs. Stayed for two days ...... will not be a very good experience for frequent travellers.

Our stay at the Phoenix hotel was amazing! Not only were the rooms nice and comfortable, the staff was great too. The room service was quick, they were accommodating of all of our requests, and they were all very kind. We will definitely be coming back.
