The Periodic Table - Fine dining restaurant in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

It is one of the most beautiful places for lunch or dinner in Ooty. The atmosphere is amazing. The foods were exquisite. The service and presentation was an excellent experience. The servers were kind and explained every dish that was served. Was happy to meet Miss Naro, who was our server, thank you so much for your service. Will definitely recommend it to all.

We were here in September. It was cold and rainy. The hot toddy was just the thing. The food was amazing. We decided to go ahead and have all the courses - soup, salad, appetiser, entrees and dessert. I enjoyed every last dish. We were served a complimentary amuse bouche and palette cleansers between the courses which were unique and inventive. The young chef, who we had the pleasure of meeting, plated everything impeccably. His name is Magesh. A very talented chef. The service was also excellent - very attentive wait staff. The only critique I would make is that the place is a bit cold in the winter months and could use a room heater or fireplace.

This was an out of the world experience for me and my family. Everything is here. I had been to many a fine dining joints all over India and Europe but Periodic Table has exceeded my expectations in every way. Have not met the chef or the owner but a big salute for them and all those who made us feel at ease with our great culinary experience. Among all those who served us Moni and Naro is worth mentioning. Thanks once again to the Periodic Table team. Keep it up. I shall be visiting again.

Premium dining experience in Ooty, definitely you need to visit the place if you are seeking a fine dining experience. They have a very peculiar menu in order to cope with the premium experience which you get, hence the lunch menu is different from the Dinner menu. All the starters and main course which I ordered was definitely amazing. The owner and staff make you welcomed right away as you walk in. Black tacos chicken was my favourite.

Well, since it is a gourmet restaurant, food was good, pretty aesthetic and you'll be tasting a couple of new dishes. Taste is excellent, cost is on the higher side. Food is quite good. Enjoyable. If you are there to relish the food, it doesn't disappoint. Also they serve welcome dishes (I found a tiny hair ingrained in my food so that reduces 1 star). I wish that didn't happen Rest, the ambience. Good. Comfy. But expected more of Chemistry or decor about the Periodic Table / Scientists, like the name suggests. In fact, we picked the restaurant as we both are Chemistry people The staff was really polite, got a chance to interact with Koustav and Chandmali (hope I got the names correct!) Who served us beautifully

Smith, our attentive host waiter, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was not only comfortable but truly distinctive. He effortlessly made our evening special with his personalized service. One aspect to consider, however, is their portion sizes. While every dish is beautifully presented, the quantities are somewhat modest. Make sure to take note of this when ordering your meal. Nonetheless, this minor detail does not overshadow the overall exceptional experience this venue has to offer.

I had hazelnut souffle which was so so so good here. Loved every bite of it. Thanks for chef Mr.Mahesh for taking time and effort to deliver that yummy dessert almost at closing time. Such a calm and fancy place. It's a great place for date nights.

We want to jave something different and got to know about this restaurant from Google. They serve continental food. We ordered salon grill, arabita pasta and a chicken dish (forgot the name). Salmon and pasta were good in taste, chicken dish also. Only issue is of they will use chicken breast piece (bone less), the taste of the chicken dish wull be much better. The interior of this restaurant is very good. Separate seating is also available for groups.
