The Pearl - Hotel in Puri, Mohanipur - Puri, India

I am sorry to say that the place is wrongly chose by me. I have booked for 3 days and my stay from the first day was horrible experience. The dangerous part Mr. Dhananjay who the most political, untrustable guy don't know how to deal with the customer for sure is the manager of this property. What is the regular problem in this hotel. 1. This is far away from puri and I didn't find any sea beach nearby to this place. 2. The room inside is good but they don't maintain it properly.Lots of insects are there inside the room. Even big size frogs are trying entering your room. 3. Room service is horrible. 4. Food is below average. Would say the worst in quality 5. If you delay returning hotel at night '' you might be faced a big hardle by standing outside the main gate may be 10/15 mins avg. 6. Dhananjay is dirty fellow and looks like a hooligan or dacoit. Better, if you need peace look for alternatives. Otherwise your vacation will be spoiled.

Overall, I had a great experience with 'The pearl'; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a weekend. Really loved the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Food was amazingly delicious. The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The Pearl is a best kept secret that offers everything you need if you don't feel like venturing out.

Rooms are nice and spacious.Can be opted for vacation when you are coming in a group.Also it is a good place to stay if you have your own vehicle as beach and puri city is a bit far from the place.Regarding food ..although food preparation is good and homely but the only issue they give very less quantity compared to the rate for the starters. Breakfast is yummy

Very Bad experience with this pearl hotel.Very unprofessional hotel management. .. . insects such as frog , cockroache, grasshopper, bees are present in our room which are they called suit room..bed cover, pillow cover not cleaned .. just incoragable experience. Food service was very bad ,they missed what we ordered, and the behavior of one of the stuff member dhannanjay was very rude. One incident I want to share - Location is quite on the outskirts so very less facilities nearby. so after dinner from Puri we arrived in the pearl hotel at night 11.15.and the gate of the hotel was closed. We called the hotel staff member but he didn't response.when he pick up the phone he told someone is coming but noneone came. After 40 mns some one came and open the main gate. This time outside of the hotel was soo dark , no one was there on the road.We were waiting with my 8yrs daughter 40mns .when we entered this hotel dhananjay told me that next day you have to check out from this hotel. What a nonsense and idiotic behavior ..booking Karne k time bahaut accha accha lecture dete hai. But all are jhooth. Don't trust this guys .very Bad

The Hotel is located on the outskirts of Puri and with respect to the facilities it is quite good for the price range. My relatives stayed at this location on their trip to Puri. Despite the fact the hotel was comfortable, the behavior of the Hotel manager was downright disgraceful. He was rude and behaved in a very unprofessional way. Normal queries about 'when will be the room cleaned' were addressed with statements like 'you booked a cheap hotel, what do you expect''. He even made personal attacks saying to my in-laws, 'Your wife needs to learn how to behave' in a very sexist way. As well travelled people we have stayed in budget friendly places but have never experienced such outrageous behaviour from a hotel manager. It is unfortunate that standing in the 21st century in a tourist dominated region of Puri, women have to tolerate such disgusting attitude!

We stayed at The Pearl for 5N/6D. We were well aware of the location before booking. The stay was very comfortable and the manager Mr Dhananjay went out of his way to see to it that all our demands were promptly fulfilled, whether related to food, help with transport or any other things we needed. In fact we travelled to Konark, Raghurajpur village, Blue Flag beach and Shree Jagannath temple and found the location mid-way and convenient. Far away from the crowd of the temple city. We intend to stay again in our next visit.

A very good stay in Puri. I spent a night here with my family. it was cozy and very comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.

The food hear is excellent, staff service is very good. Definitely would love to come again with the rooms spacious enough.....
