We had evening snacks there. The ambience was outstanding. We loved the food as well. For two people it'll cost around 3k-4k. Best time for visit is twilight.
Hotel is at great location loved it. The room had so much of natural light. It was clean and well equipped.The switches for all lighting in the rooms are of the one touch type,which was good. Great room service and nicely maintained.
The breakfast spread is good and Excellent. Staff are very forthcoming at the restaurant at breakfast. Room service and food is okay Rooms are okay not great when compared to other star hotels. Night stay can be disturbing in some rooms due the music thumping sounds can be felt even in 2nd floor rooms.
I had some coffee there. They charged double price from the original price from menu. Also, they didn't return me change. They told me account office is closed during weekend and they cannot get change from office. Why they don't prepare change in advance if they know account office is closed on weakened? I totally do not recommend you to go there.
Great hotel with a great location. The only downside I experienced was the rude reception. My interaction with them during checkin and during checkout was very unpleasant. For a moment I thought it's just a one-off experience. But soon realised others were facing the same when one of the guests actually got angry on them.
Highest standards of hospitality is maintained. Perfect example of home away from home. Every single step of the guest is tracked and well appreciated. Staff is very polite, well trained and maintain the best standards. No wonder that the hotel has maintained itself on the hospitality horizon of Kolkata over such a long period of time.
The service was excellent! Front house, housekeeping, the bridge restaurant breakfast and the someplace else bar was fabulous. We really really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and accomodating with our requests. The rooms were little old but clean. The funny thing is front office staff says they have upgraded your rooms to "luxury rooms" to ALL the guests to make them feel better.
