The Panoramic Getaway - Hotel in Chithirapuram - Idukki, India

Looking at the great reviews we booked this property but we didn't find it to be that impressive. Pros 1) Great Rooms with all the modern amenities and decent view from the room balcony 2) Breakfast had a decent spread and taste was also up to the mark. 3) Pasta at Dinner was amazing. Though Pizza was more like a homemade pizza and can be avoided. 4) Service at both the restaurants was good Cons 1) We received the coldest reception ever when we reached the hotel. Nobody guided us to the check in counter. The guy at the reception didn't even greet us with a smile and if felt like we were checking into an OYO property and not a luxury resort. Again probably it was just our experience and but it did set the tone for our whole stay. 2) The property itself is quite small and doesn't have any wow factor. For the price they charge you expect better. 3) The property is situated at a lower elevation than Munnar which makes it a little warmer overall. So if you are looking to experience cool weather, this would probably not be the best choice. Overall it was a decent stay but not anywhere close to what you would expect from a 5-star property. The warmth and service that you generally expect from the staff of a luxury Resort was lacking and the property itself didn't have much going for it.

One of the best hotel stays of my life. The moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by a lovely man who escorted us to the reception. The receptionists were also very friendly. Don't even get me started on the rooms, sooo good. We had a very long journey and this hotel made us feel relaxed. We didn't even want to leave the hotel at one point cause we got amazing views and amazing food as well! The massage center was amazing as well. I can't wait to go here again!

It was one of the most comfortable stay I have had with my family. My father absolutely liked their hospitality. The food is great - full of variety. We also enjoyed the rustic look of - The Underground Charcoal grill restaurant with a mesmerising view of mountains. The hotel is at a very beautiful location a must stay in Munnar.

The hotel is nestled in the mountains above Munnar. It is certainly panoramic. Service was excellent from entering the hotel through leaving. Our waitress Amen and our server Vinu Mon were attentive to our every need. Food was superb, the buffet breakfast was hearty and delicious, ambience at the hotel was soothing, rooms were modern with amenities and the overall experience was enjoyable. I called this hotel my heavenly haven.

Awesome place to stay in Munnar. Food is very yummy . Swimming pools are so refreshing and clean .Rooms are very spacious and specially mountain view rooms u can enjoy the beauty of nature. Without a second thought u can go to paranomic getaway.Staffs are also good. Nice stay .Thanks

Hotel is great, views are second to none. The pool is the best swimming experience I've ever had! We were really lucky and managed to see wild elephants and the food was great. Arya at the tourism desk was brilliant, always smiling and made us feel really welcome. I gave the service a 4 star, as we had just come from another hotel in Cochin where the service was the best I've ever experienced. Saying that, the staff here are very nice and laid back. Our tour was lead by a local driver called Surindran, you should request him if you can, so friendly and a really safe driver. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We booked the hotel for my family get together. All staff members were extremely courteous and very polite. All the amenities and rooms were very well maintained. Ms. Arya at the front office was very professional and she checked on us everyday to make sure we had an exceptional vacation experience. We would definitely recommend The Panoramic Getaway to all our friends and relatives. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The entire stay at the Panoramic Getaway was exceptionally good and very comfortable . Right from check-in to check -out the service was excellent. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and polite especially Mr Ajay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and staff very respectful and helpful especially Ms Amen. Even the staff at the reception are very welcoming and helpful especially Ms Arya. The decor is very beautiful and amenities provided by the hotel are wonderful! Overall an amazing experience!!
