The Ornate - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

I stayed for two days. Hotel service was amazing but I was very disappointed with restaurant service. Food quality and taste was good but restaurant staff were not cooperative. Very slow service, table was not ready, chilled water was served everytime even though I requested for lukewarm water.

The restaurant (called "The Herb") in this hotel was very disappointing. 1. They did not have lime or lemon when we asked for lime juice and were out of mock-tails as well. Reason given: there were other functions going on, so there was a lack of lemons. Height of mismanagement 2. We ordered crispy chicken as starters and it was the driest we ever had. 3. The whole show was noticeably understaffed. No blame to the hard working waiters there. In a nutshell, the management needs to be fired and revamped. Never going back!!

It was a very pleasant experience staying at the hotel. The rooms were nice and very clean and they offer many amenities. The room service were great.

The room was better than expected, however, the room needs paint touch up as there was seepage. Your restaurant has to improve its service and the quality of food. Lastly, a huge shout out to Jyotirmoy, your staff whose customer service and attitude was exceptional. It was because of him we felt our stay warm and hospitable.He deserves to be rewarded as he is an asset to your property.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ornate, The staff was incredibly hospitable, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean and cosy, and I had a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, the hotel's restaurant served some delicious meals that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you're looking for an affordable yet pleasant stay with a touch of warmth, The Ornate is an excellent choice.

Had a great experience at The Ornate Hotel, Herbs Restaurant. Food was too good. Had a lot of items starting from starters to main course. Most favourite was the dessert . Definitely visit.

I stayed here for 4 days..The room, bathroom,service is excellent. The breakfast buffet has wide spread but taste is very bland. Location is very closr for railway station, shopping etc.

This is my 4th stay with this hotel. Hotel is good but I think they need to improve their hospitality, sometimes they ignore your comfort. Sometimes cx needs some small preference like an earlier check-in, proper room services, and good behavior but somehow I am not happy with their hospitality. But the hotel is good in location, rooms, and food.
