The Orchid Lonavala - Hotel in Lonavala - Pune, India

Rooms need to be properly maintained. There are some basic expectations when one is checking in to such hotels. We had to request for everything when they should have been provided without asking. Example no shower caps, no shampoo and only 1 towel was put in the room when we had pre booked the room about 10 days in advance. The childs bed did not have bedsheet or comforter which was provided on asking. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The service is great. Swimming pool needs to be properly maintained. The changing rooms near the pool were infested with mosquito and spiders. All in all for the price other options can be evaluated.

The service was excellent. They have a gamezone, which is taken care by Jayashree. She provided excellent service and they had even organised a DJ night. Had amazing fun!

The stay was good but the service was not upto the Orchid level. When we called prior to the check-in date, we got the confirmation that we will get the early check-in (around 10AM without extra charges) as per the rooms availability by one of the front desk managers over a call. However, when we reached, the main manager was behaving rudely and denying us to provide the early check-in by saying that rooms are not available and we have early check-in option chargeable only, it is not at all complementary. After confronting him with the other front desk manager, he said that ok we will give you the early check-in but only for 1 room, and the 2nd one we will give you 2 hours later. The room provided as an early check-in that was also of the down category and not the one we booked. So, again we had to clarify the things and asked for the room we booked. At the time of check-out, when we asked for the late check-out like an hour late, then at first they agreed for 30 mins late check-out. And later they gave us the call in room that we have to check-out at 11Am only (and not 11:30AM) as the new guests have already arrived. The usual check-in time is 2PM but since they were ready to pay extra 2000+Taxes, manager asked us to do check-out on time. So, the main manager was having his own set of rules and criteria as per his wishes. Overall stay experience was not per the Orchid brand.

I stayed for a day. Had an awesome stay. Staff are very courteous and polite. Buffet was nice. Highly recommend to all.

Location is right on the main road towards city and good place with decent options in menu and taste is also normal neither too spicy nor too bland okaish, maybe ask for customisation incase.

Went to this place for lunch while in Lonavla. Boulevard Restaurant is a nice place. Food taste is good. Service was good. Staff is very polite and nice. The restaurant serves both veg and non veg food. They offer buffet as well. The Orchid hotel has sufficient parking space. The location is bit away from the main market. Overall a good place to have a quick bite.

Lux resort hotel to spend a night. Everything was nice. Especially restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. Superb buffet breakfast with perfect continental food options and Indian too. Location is down because no space around to stroll or no view of nature. But value for money

I did not stay in Orchid. Just had south Indian in their restaurant. And I must say it was damn good, the idli and medu vada literally melted in my mouth. Masala Dosa was pretty good as well.
