The hotel I visited was well-maintained and provided a delightful experience overall. The food quality was top-notch, ensuring both tastiness and hygiene. However, I was disappointed to learn that the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance during my stay, depriving me of an anticipated recreational activity. One aspect that didn't sit well with me was the pricing policy for the buffet dinner. They charged the same amount, Rs. 1299 + taxes, for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This seemed unjustified as typically non-vegetarian dishes tend to be more expensive due to the cost of meat. Despite this drawback, I appreciated the efforts put forth by the hotel staff in maintaining high standards in other areas. The attentive and courteous service from the staff added to the positive experience. The ambiance and cleanliness of the dining area and rooms were commendable, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel's commitment to maintaining a well-groomed property and providing delectable and hygienic food is praiseworthy. Although the swimming pool's temporary closure was a letdown, I understand that maintenance is essential for the long-term quality of the facilities. In conclusion, while the hotel had a lot to offer and generally exceeded expectations, the issue with the buffet pricing could be addressed to ensure fairness to all guests. Despite this, I would still recommend this establishment to others and encourage them to maintain the high standards they have set in other aspects. Keep up the good work!

Surprised with their outstanding customer service. Jyotshna at the Guest Relations desk, went out of the way, helping me on my urgent business needs. Ms Gargee, the Duty Manager, was of immense help to facilitate my stay. Miran with the restaurant took care of my business guests, during multiple meeting sessions. Overall the stay was outstanding and very enjoyable. I thank all these excellent people and their commitment to do a great job.

While going for business meetings and engaging in them tires you alot. A fabulous place like this can just give you a perfect 'ME' time away from the hustle of the city. Worth every penny!

Great location! One of the oldest hotels around. Orchid has a good reputation and they have been doing well. The hotel rooms do need a face lift now.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, very good food, cosy room and decent services. Large and spacious facilities and room.

As a regular, repeated visitor (as a guest, booked at this hotel)... I have a constant issue during an early morning checkout. The staff at reception are completely clueless (despite checking records)... & I have to keep going up to the Duty-Manager on duty, to explain my case. Please be forewarned... as this can be downright annoying & delay a guest's prompt departure.

The location is very good and access is easy. The rooms have stuffy smell of written wood and wet carpet. The bathrooms have broken mirrors and tiles. The bath fitting are age old and slow. There are only two lifts in this big hotel. The. Cooling of the air conditioner doesn't function well. By the time the hall is cool your function will be over. In our function they served stale dessert even after complaining about it, it was not changed. They claim to be a 5 star hotel buy they will serve Monaco biscuits as cookies in high tea with coffee/ tea. So if you are planning a function here plz double check everything before confirming the venue.

Overall a great hotel, but the thing that I didn't like was their bathrooms, like lights were too depressing and they had few spots in the bathroom where the bottom of the wooden door were rotten. Except for these things the hotel was good. I like their food and services.
