The Orchard Greens Resort - Resort hotel in Manali - Kullu, India

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms : The rooms are pretty good, has central heating, spacious and has good amenities. Service : Is good, but has scope of improvement. Food : A bit OKAYish compared to the pricing. Would recommend people to have your meals (Lunch / Dinner) outside.

They have two buildings, one a hotel and other a resort. The photos given in this map are of resorts . we booked their service thinking actual rooms will be like these photos only . But when we reached there , we were disappointed since they provided rooms which were very old and of no view .there were small cockroaches in the room. No heater is provided and if you want extra charges will be applied for using the heater as well as for drinking water . Their breakfast buffet was really good . Overall service is good.

Good stay, well appointed rooms. Great location. Food quantity and quality can be better. Food price not justified. Breakfast had poor variety of spread with boiled egg and omlette being the only non veg option. Toiletries were missing in the rooms but was available on call.

The resort is good. But the rooms are not that well maintained. The washbasin pipe was leaking and there was no heater in the room which was the cause of discomfort. But if someone is looking for stay in budget it can be considered.

The property is new and really nice. awesome location. Internet speed is something they need to improve. Though the snacks we ordered were very yummy but there is little room for improvement in the breakfast buffet . The service is very quick. The staff is good. Also they need to construct a nice road or way leading to their parking as it gets messy in rains as the area is muddy and uncovered which goes through the old property and leads to new property. The best part is they have play area for kids , swimming pool and a gym. internet connection.

Location: near Hadimba temple and Van Vihar. Got a nice view of mountains on one side. Check in: Check in wasn't very smooth. We had booked luxury mountain view room, trusted the "early check in" advertisement in MMT page for hotel. But staff said early checkin depends on room availability. May be true, there were many guests in the breakfast area during our stay. Room: the first room they gave was right next to the reception. It's balcony right next to the reception balcony. Low privacy. So we had to wait longer for the room which didn't have a great view but more privacy. Anyway, the room was clean, cozy and comfortable. There's central heating in the evenings. We ended up waiting for about 2 hours in the lounge. Good thing is, we met the super energetic and playful hotel cat. God's plan Ranjeet bhai arranged bike for rent, gave helpful suggestions and tips for sightseeing. Also arranged a drop to the bus stand. Taxi arrived late, resulting in a chase to get the bus. But nobody's mistake, things happen Mahendra, and all other staff were friendly and nice. Except the main-looking person at reception. He reminded me of my school headmaster. Maybe, he got so many things to manage, and hence the worry and reluctance to smile. It's alright Checkout: Riya didi managed to arrange late checkout. Thank you Riya didi for your warm assistance during our stay. Your smiling face made us feel comfortable and at home Overall, it is a well-managed, cozy place. I totally recommend this place!

Our two-night stay at this Manali hotel, a group of eight, including two couples, had its highs and lows. The property itself is beautiful, right in the heart of Manali and very close to the Mall Road, with stunning views. The rooms we booked were the most premium of this hotel, spacious, clean, and even had jacuzzis, making for a comfortable stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was welcoming. Shoutout to Ria (the front desk) However, the dining experience left much to be desired. Despite a prepaid meal plan, the restaurant staff appeared unwelcoming and hesitant to serve. The menu was confusing, with many items unavailable even for additional payment. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve, even after sharing feedback with the duty manager. The room service was lackluster, with the service staff often seeming tired and unhelpful. To top it off, the spa was out of order. Regrettably, we can't recommend this property to friends. It receives only two stars, one for the booking process and one for check-in.

We recently stayed at the Green Orchid Resort in Manali during the off-season, and unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. The service was subpar, with issues like a non-functional TV, a geyser that didn't work, and linens that were not clean. However, the one redeeming aspect was the food, which was consistently great. While we enjoyed the delicious meals, it's important for the resort to address and improve upon the service and maintenance issues to provide a more comfortable stay for guests.
