The Mountbatten Lodge - Lodge in Ranakpur, Maga - Udaipur, India

We came here to have lunch after seeing the beautiful pictures online. Due to COVID they were only allowing guests in the resort but they also let us come have lunch. The manager was so nice and walked us Around the property and showed us Around even though we didn't have a booking to stay there. The food they served was so delicious. Everyone there was so sweet the service was excellent. The property is absolutely beautiful a must see if your in that area.

Stayed 2 nights at Mount Batten lodge , recently , with my friends. It is a beautiful place for holidaying with family and friends. We were warmly greeted by the owner and the manager. All the staff were extremely polite . They were always there for our service. It's a beautiful property. They had arranged all our meals in different locations and made an effort to set up the place beautifully. Food was good ,especially the continental cuisine. The Indian dishes were a bit spicy, but it was taken care , when we told them about our preference. Will surely visit again.

Awesome place. Wonderful, polite and helpful staff. Will treat you like you are royalty. Managed by Ms. Dara, a very competent and experienced hospitality person. Chef is very good. Just tell him.what you want and he will whip it up. And it tastes just amazing. Like the best you have had. The rooms are very well appointed. Best way to describe it is - Royal. All in all an awesome experience. Am definitely coming back. Soon.

Absolutely stunning place with the best food and service. Stopped by for lunch. They set it under 300 year old Banyon tree and took seriously our request for not so spicy food. Everything delicious but service even more so.

Mountbatten loge , a hidden Gem , a serine quite , remote resort of Four super luxury room in the lap of Nature, there cannot be a better place to Relax and unwind. Just four rooms . All rooms are like huge suits , very nice setup , great showers and bathrooms with Bed inside the Bath room , zacuzzi , swimming pools , all what you need to chill . Great food , all what we had was superb in taste and quality .This place has great ambience , tastefully developed Resort , Surrounded by old jumbo Banyan and other trees , waterfalls, overflowing with nature all around . Dinning under one of such 300 years old banyan tree is a great experience ,They have made nice bar setups , well equipped with lot of reading material , collection of good music ,supported by royal service. A royal peaceful Experience .

Royal getaway indeed, we had a fabulous time there and have been pampered like kings! The rooms are spacious and at par with 5 star luxury boutique. The setting is magnificent and there are plenty of sightseeing and wildlife adventures including leopard sightings. Recommend it 100%

Lots of wonderful memories from this place. Here's some of them: 1. Booking with Digvijay and Shaurya Hospitality. Honest, friendly and accurate. He took the time to understand what we needed (mom and dad stepping outside their home after 10 months, new puppy, less travel time) and set us up perfectly with lodge reservations. 2. Meeting Reggie and Dara (property owners and manager). They were warm, affable and very welcoming. They were also full of good information and tried to make our stay at comfortable as possible. They even took in our puppy while we had dinner. Having them for a fireside chat made our evening at the lodge very memorable. 3. The rooms are beautiful, every room is a suite with huge bathrooms leading into a big courtyard and a pool. Every detail has been meticulously taken care of. 4. The lodge itself is gorgeous. Every meal has a different settings, where is under the roman pillars, by the fire place or under the banyan tree, it's an experience like no other. 5. Service: immaculate. They took care of our dog in a way that no other place in the world would. We have a 3 month old puppy in a crate and not once did I have to carry the crate. We had a wonderful butler who was always around. There are certain things that I hope they can change, things are I believe others should be aware of: 1. Water: we woke up our second morning without any water. After an hour, when we finally got water, there was no hot water at all. It was freezing. This isn't something that we expect from a place like this. 2. Food: it's a hit or miss. We had delicious Rajasthani food, parathas and desserts to die for. We also had to send multiple items back such as chai and pohas. They really should switch the chef. 3. Driver accommodation: we were promised this and they couldn't deliver. I hope this is looked into. Overall, I have given this place a 4 star because the positives outweigh the negatives by a big margin. If you are thinking of going here, do it, you won't regret it.

The property is extremely well maintained and very luxurious. The staff at Lord Mountbatten Lodge is the most courteous one. Rajasthani hospitality at its best. Ms Dara, Mr Rathore and the entire staff at the lodge made us feel extremely special. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.
