The Mountain View - Home Stay in Rishikesh - Dehradun, India

The hotel itself is centrally located. The rooms are clean and service is very good. Rakesh, the front desk manager is very caring and listens and addresses all of our concerns in time. Only drawback is there is no lift and if you are given a room in the third floor, be prepared to climb the steps. Otherwise a decent hotel.

Decent place to stay, but definitely not recommending anyone. It's a decent budget stay, I love to help local people and give business as a tourist but even the basics facilities they can provide. No towels, no soaps, curtains too dirty, and had a unpleasant smell from toilet all the time. If they can work on some basics, then it's a decent budget stay on the way to Rishikesh.

I had a great stay experience here. The property is good enough to satisfy your needs. It's proximity to Nepali Farm bus stand, uncle's (host) super friendliness & staffs promptness made my stay memorable. Context: I planned my solo trip to Rishikesh at the end moment (3 hours before my bus departure from Gurgaon) for a long peak weekend (Fri-Mon) ahead. I had no idea where to stay or even about must-go places. I discovered this place from Airbnb and spoke to Ankit. While I was on the way to bus stop, I requested Ankit to confirm my booking. I reached Rishikesh, Nepali Farm bus stop, at 5 am on Sat, and went directly to this property. I met the host, uncle (Ankit's dad), who gave me the room. He immediately helped arrange a bike for me on my request (mind you, the entire bike rental service of Rishikesh was sold out) and he also guided me places where all I could visit. Not just that, he also suggested me the most convenient routes to take, popular eateries and timings to visit different places, and we had a good chat and breakfast together for the next 2 days as well. Throughout my trip, uncle was always a phone call away to guide and help. Infact, Ankit's place recommendation list was an icing on the cake - especially cafes & scenic spots. I felt home away from home while I was on my solo trip. :)

Wonderful homestay kind of accommodation. We stayed for a very short time. We were in transit and wanted a place to rest and nearby Nepali farm under the flyover. This property is just 10 mins from Nepali farm. We had called Negi ji and he was happy to accomodate is for some hours for some small charge. This helped us a lot avoiding to pay for the whole day. Clean and tidy place on the road. Definitely would recommend for those looking nearby Nepali farm. As it is outskirts of Rishikesh.

Mountain View is a beautiful homestay where I felt very comfortable. The owner is very helpful and helped me with everything. The common rooms are especially nice, with a fully equipped kitchen that you can use to the full for a small extra charge. It's a nice place to meet new people and end the evening on the beautiful roof terrace. I would definitely come again, it was a very nice stay! Thank you very much

There is nothing like mountain view . Its just a normal good home stay. And it is 5.8 km away from Rishikesh. Host is good ,and you can find a good kitchen with all the necessary items. All areas are accessible and you will definitely feel like home. AC and non AC Rooms are available but are very small . There is a railway faatk near to this place and every time when we were going to or coming from rishikesh by car we were getting stuck in traffic. If you are travelling in local transport it would be easy for you as this home stay is on Main Road .

Wonderful experience at this home stay. We loved it. The Negi Family is an awesome host.
