Very nice place visit form every weekend during your family

First let me clarify that Tamdaghumar Waterfalls is different from Mendri Gumar Waterfalls. I could see people mixing up both the places in reviews. Tumdaghumar waterfalls is few kms away from this place. This place is easy to locate using Google map. Roads are good to navigate. Few shops are there at entrance. They collect small fee for entry / parking [P]. It is just a minute walk from parking [P]. Easily accessible by all. Safe to go with family and kids. There are 2-3 spots viewable but waterfall is main attraction. The waterflow is very less during our visit in mid of October. Suggest going here immediately after monsoon for better experience. One can spend ~30 minutes over here casually.

On the way from Chitrakote to Barsoor lies this beautiful place called Mendri Ghoomar. Excellent ambience, very clean. The local boys have set up a parking lot and charge minimal amount for it. Photography is allowed, there is a barbed wire fencing for safety. The best part about this place is that you can listen to sound of water falling from the height and flowing down the valley. If not more, this place is as beautiful as Munnar.

One the most relaxing and peaceful places i have visited recently...as i love to be near to nature and my homeland never disappoints me with that....u will not find any hotel, restaurant, no disturbance bt the peace and nature...

Actually it's real name is mendri ghumar so Tamar ghumar and mendri ghumar are both located on same place but to see the Tamar ghumar waterfall you will have to go lill further, mendri ghumar is a highest hill mountain area and the view is most beautiful from there you can see far of mountain ranges from there it's beautiful so about Tamar ghumar waterfall it's one of the best and highest waterfall in bastar region and when the river is getting full and falls then this waterfall is worth seeing and center of attraction that's why this place is famous and the nature's beauty makes this amezing waterfall but the lack of knowledge and info about this water fall and only because in the rain it becomes beautiful that's why few people know about this beautiful place so altogether this place is an amazing tourism spot and whenever you came in bastar you should to see this..Thank you Giriraj singh
