The experience was very good. It makes you feel like a 5 star hotel. The cuisine, the service, the crowd, the vibe, the ambience, the polite staff, the choice of desserts and the FOOD, everything is just awesome. Would definitely recommend going for a date or dinner with your family. The buffet is certainly of very good quality and very much value for the money that you pay.
Enjoyed dinner date at "The Market". Its one of the best place to have dinner buffet. Food was tasty and all hygiene maintained. Professional staff behavior. North Indian, Asian, Chinese food options were available at buffet. Also staff helped to get some dishes on table. White sauce pasta was yummy. Ambiance is very calm. You can seat outside with riverview. Interior and color combinations are good to get perfect captures. Had very good experience at The Market, Westin Pune. Good to go for buffet. Value for money.
AVOID THIS PLACE!! THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! I WENT THERE FOR DINNER AND IT WAS BEYOND TERRIBLE. THE DIMSUM WAS DRY, THE YELLOW TAIL SUSHI WAS A HORRIBLE CHOICE, THE OTHER FOOD WAS LACKLUSTER INCLUDING THE SELECTION. IT WAS SUBPAR IN COMPARE TO THE PRICING AND STANDARDS OF WESTIN. Name of Dishes: Nothing worth mentioning here! The dimsum, the yellow tail sushi, and everything else I tried! Taste: Awful! The food was bland, stale, and unappetizing. The sauces were watery and the spices were missing. Appearance: Disgusting! The food looked like it was left over from yesterday. The portions were small and the presentation was sloppy. Value for money: 2000 pp Service: great! The staff was the only thing good about the place. There was one overworked staff serving our entire table of 18 people Overall, would you recommend this? No, never! This place is a rip-off and not credible to Westin.
The ambience and atmosphere is really good. I came on a weekday afternoon so the crowd was quite dull. I guess because of less crowd, the menu was not that exciting as well. I think weekend buffet menus are better. However, food was still good. Staff was very helpful and polite. Appetizers were enjoyable. Variety of salads, cheese and other international delicacies. Mains: Indian food was boring. International mains were ok. Especially Ratatouille was good. Pasta was extremely enjoyable. The Asian section: Paneer chilli, spring rolls and sushi were good. Soup was good as well. But dumplings were overcooked. Wish Pizza slices had been offered as well. Desserts- The spread was amazing! I Especially loved Dalia kheer and Marble brownie. I tried all the other desserts as well. Drinks- Loved Merry Berry and Virgin Mojito. Again, i feel if i had come on a weekend, the menu would have been more exciting.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Market restaurant at Westin Pune, and it was an incredible experience! We opted for the buffet, and I must say, every dish was an absolute delight. The wide variety of options catered to every palate, from savory Indian delicacies to delectable Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. What made our dining experience even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by Jake, Somnath, and Shaw. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. They were incredibly polite, attentive to our needs, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. The ambiance of The Market was inviting and comfortable, with a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The live cooking stations added a touch of excitement as we watched the talented chefs prepare mouthwatering dishes right before our eyes. I highly recommend The Market at Westin Pune to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and welcoming staff makes it a top-notch choice. Whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you're in for a treat. I can't wait to visit again and savor the culinary delights at The Market.
Always a pleasure dining at "The Market". Were warmly welcomed by the F&B Manager Jayanta and then escorted to our table. Fabulous mouth drooling spread (as posted).. Jade with her courteous and gracious presence makes sure that the guests are comfortable and enjoying their meal. An extra star for that. A shout out to Shreyas for his prompt and attentive service. Kudos to the H R team who recruit the right people and also to the Training Manager who instills the meaning of "Hospitality" to the team. Undoubtedly, Westin's hospitality is probably the best among all the 5* star properties in Pune. Keep it up guys
Ambience : absolutely wonderful, spacious, peaceful. You can walk around outside near the outdoor seating. There is a swimming pool as well probably for guests from the hotel. There is no lifeguard after sunset. There is a baby pool beside. The adult pool is only 4 feet. View is lovely here. Food: buffet or A La Carte. We took select items. Nothing great about it. Not substantial for sure. The coffee was good and wholesome. However, service is smooth and peaceful. Good for rare visits.
We tried the buffet from here. The ambience is on point. You'll have all the luxury feelings here, from the entrance to the restaurant. Except for may be the parking. The staircase to get to the ground floor from parking were horribly dirty. Not maintained at all. * The buffet price per person - 2240 * Buffet serves Indian, Asian and Continental Menu. * Buffet ends at sharp 11 PM I liked the Sushi from here. Appetizers were good. Garlic mashed potato was surprisingly very good. Since we joined at around 9:30 many of the food items had got cold and some were out of stock. Pasta was very average. In the main course they had Paneer, Fish and chicken options. Their garlic naan was amazing. The best thing was the dessert section. I loved the Bundi rabdi. Blueberry cupcakes are a must try. To end the meal there were two ice cream options, Strawberry and Chocolate. The strawberry ice cream was very natural and fresh. We couldn't get enough of it. ** To fully enjoy the buffet make sure you reach there atleast at 8. So that you'll get time to digest and eat as many items as you can.
