The Manohar, Hyderabad - Hotel in Hyderabad - Medchal Malkajgiri, India

Rooms are very poorly maintained, bathrooms are quite dirty. Bed linen are not clean. Spotted cob web, coackroach inside the hotel. Ordered Hot & Sour soup, which was good. There's stark difference between the hotel reception area and room maintenance. Will not recommended it to anyone. Couldn't be justified as luxury hotel as per the claims.

The room is good, and the location as well . The cost is too high.. but it's the heart place of the city and near the old airport. Service responce is good. The room is small in size and both room also. It's old hotel need to do proper maintenance...

From outside hotel looks like a 5 star but on an actual it's a basic 2 star hotel ... We stayed in the hotel for 2 hours max and we found the toilet seat was broken and view from the window you can see the sky and not the city... you can also see plants growing from the window... I will recommend that avoid this hotel if you're planning to visit hyderabad...

We booked rooms at The Manohar in the first week of November for our relatives . The service was pretty ordinary or maybe infact poor. But the worst part of the stay was that we found a big rat in our room on our 3rd day of stay. Never earlier in my life, we have faced this issue in tens of hotels that we stayed at! And of course for the amount that's being paid for this place, such things are not expected. It might have been a great hotel once but I would not recommend it now. Pretty average stay!

The hoteloffers an old colonial charm with art deco furniture enhanced by its spectacular view in Hyderabad. The traditional Afternoon Tea featuring an elaborate buffet spread of classic English delicacies and Local Indian favourites complemented with a selection of the world's finest teas and coffees. The is location is delightful, very nice ambience.They offer a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options...skip your lunch to relish the delicacies they offer!

Worst worst experience. They say it is a five star hotel, it's not even 3 star. The rooms are shabby. Washrooms are not well maintained. Television is a small lcd. The door lock was not working. I called them for a query and they were not understanding and told me to call on other extensions but didn't help. And the buffet! Omg don't waste your precious money on that food. I paid 1000 rupees for buffet. And what I got was soggy chat, salted noodles, the rotis were burnt and hard to chew. The food was really really disappointing and worthless. Don't waste your money on this hotel. Pay a little extra and get a good five star service. Do not book this hotel. Seriously you will regret it.

I would not recommend this hotel for international travellers and disabled. The hotel doesn't have a leaflet of room service numbers and other services they offer. The only thing they give is room key and small paper with wifi and no further information, no information about fire exits as well. I wasn't told about the numbers to dial for room service, My room service phone didn't work until the next day. This hotel has really poor services, anything you request would take ages to come. The aircon comes with really loud sound which you need to get used to it to able to sleep. We requested a fridge for medicines storage they gave one after 8-10 hrs which never did work inspite of requesting to change the fridge. The Hairdryer never worked. The restaurant food is good. Overall Not good value for Money.

Room: Decent sized rooms but not properly cleaned. The bed specifically was not very clean. The toilet had visible signs of seepage. The shower was not super clean and the shower head spill water everywhere. The soap & shampoo dispenser did not work properly and did not dispense off anything. The toilet did not have toiletries except hand-wash. I feel for a hotel claiming to be 5 star should have dental kit, comb, shower cap and washroom towels. The shower was not giving hot water after trying for 20 mins. Later we realised that blue is hot and red is for cold. The TV had very minimal channels and most of the basic ones were paid. Wifi was working decently to my surprise. Staff: The staff was courteous and we had a smooth checkin. After reaching to the room we realised that the room was in bad shape. Seepage everywhere, no hand-wash in washroom. We requested for a room change in 10 mins and then waited for another hours(and multiple follow ups) and then given up and headed out. At 8pm visited the reception for a stern conversation and they gave an alternative room which has basic things like hand-wash and seepage was less in that room. After check-in, our luggage did not reach our rooms for first 30 mins so we ended up getting it ourself. The staff does not act on the basic instructions. I called Agoda service center but it was not a lot of help. I wanted to cut short my plan because of the stay but Agoda did not support me here. Breakfast: Staff here was very courteous and disciplined. The options were limited but the food was served on time and with acceptable quality. I feel restaurant was the slightly positive experience we had on the property. Location: The hotel is located in middle of city and is in the same complex as old airport so connectivity was good.
